The apartment was beautifully set out, and the facilities were great. Washing machine and drying rack were very handy! The area is so safe and quiet, with lots of play areas for the kids and easy walks to some beautiful lakeside spots. Very short drive (under 5 mins) to the castle attractions. Parking was easy around the apartment and no trouble finding a spot. A beautiful apartment in a beautiful setting.

The house is very close to the road and easy to find, and also not noisy and the cars passing don't bother at all. The rooms had views to the lake and they were very peaceful and large in size. The common bathroom is downstairs so you have to climb some stairs but nothing out of the ordinary. It has a decently equipped kitchen and you can use the fridge and whatever is at your disposal. The owners were welcoming and helpful, although the spoke only little English, but we could manage with willingness. There's a big garden and lots of outdoor space to eat, lay down, do yoga, meditate or run around. There's also a promenade around the lake from the house itself and you can go to town through it. There are some restaurants only 10 minutes away on foot.

We had an attic room with a spectacular view of Trakai Castle. Woke up early to catch it in the sunrise. The dinner in the restaurant on the property was great. Georgian food. We arrived late and that saved us because it was off season and everything else in the area was closing early.

    Awesome place can recommend to everyone. Had only 3 days, could easily have spent atleast a week. Great water activities, great trekking, everything in walking distance not to mention great and cheap restaurants

    We got held up earlier in the day so arrived after the castle had closed. The best we could do was a sunset walk around the castle (which was pretty, but not the same as touring inside). Unfortunately our schedule dictated an early departure the following day. Will need to go back.

    I liked the place but a taxi is not available all the time...

    I liked the place but a taxi is not available all the time and if there is it costs too much for example for 5 minutes it costs 15 euros and we had no option but to pay also Bolt app to ride 95% of the time you can't find a ride

    Great place for the vacation- nice view of the castle.

    Great place for the vacation- nice view of the castle. Parking is limited during season- worth travelling though. Nice places for dinner- fabulous local meals' options and also contemporary choices.

    Absolutely wonderful place for shorter and longer stay. The house is beautiful, located in the peaceful village but very near Trakai (just a 20 minutes walk). Guests can use a lovely garden, have a grill etc. Hosts are extremely nice people, give helpful information and take care of everything. Rooms are spacious and furnished with taste. In the neighbourhood there is a "cognitive path" through a forrest and in Trakai there are many attractions. We have a perfect time here and recommend strongly this place!

    Excellent service and fantastic food in the restaurant, including breakfast. You can swim in the lake directly from the pier near the hotel/restaurant. The furniture and all the small details, even electric switches, and bedclothes, are authentic and create a nice atmosphere. The distance to the fortress is about 2 km but the way there along the lake beach is very pleasant.

    Absolutely stunning property in an amazing location. The food in all of the restaurants was fantastic and the staff were some of the most friendly I have ever encountered!! Could walk to all of Trakai and view of the castle while you sip your Aperol spritz!!

    Excellent location for a longer holiday stay. Beautiful surroundings (3 ponds, forest). Wonderful personalized breakfast on request (10EUR/person) - if you eat everything you won't have to eat dinner. Close to Trakai, but you have to drive there.
