Apartment was really cozy and comfotable, it felt like home. Self-check in was comfortable. Everything is in walking distance - shop about 5 minutes, new castle and park about 15 minutes. We really enjoyed our stay!

A hidden pearl of Latvia and Old Livonia with an island resort in the middle. Despite being almost 200 km from the seashore the city had an inspiring shore holiday feel with a great beach side island in the middle of the city. Great place to learn about the history and the origin of written Latvian language.

Clean and well kept city. Many historical places of interest. Tourist information provided in hotel lobby useful and practical. Hotel staff knowledgeable to suggest activities and festivals taking place in the city. Restaurants and coffee shops abound.

The owner communicated with me throughout my arrival day in English to assure my arrival goes smoothly. They allowed me to bring my bike into my room to ensure that it is kept safely. The room itself was spacious enough for it, it had 4 beds but was all mine. Bathroom and the room itself were very clean. The place is in the quiet part of Aluksne so it was very quiet throughout the night although it was a long weekend. The center is still quite close though. There was also a little shared kitchen.

Perfect little apartment, located on the first floor. Nicely decorated and had super comfortable bed. I travel a lot and I had one of the best sleeps in this place. 👌 Apartment is walking distance from shops and town. Super easy to check in. Was quiet and peaceful to stay there. Can’t fault anything about it. I will certainly stay again if I’ll be going to Aluksne.

Wonderful location and very lovely house! No need to worry about lack of amenities as everything you would need is there - electricity, heating, internet, kitchen stuff, extra blankets etc. Great experience and place to stay if you want to explore Alūksne region! 👍
