Within this elegant setting lies the guesthouse, just a few steps from the beach, with a garden typical of the area, and a refined host who was exceptionally attentive and accommodating.I'm sorry I had to leave in the morning without the chance to say goodbye—I assume she was busy preparing breakfast—but I’d like to thank her this way. The room was practically perfect for my needs, equipped with all necessary amenities and products. The bathroom was highly functional and spotless, with towels replaced daily. I didn’t have breakfast there, as I joined the rest of my family elsewhere, but the aromas wafting through the air each morning were truly inviting. I’m confident the culinary experience was just as impressive as everything else.

We had a wonderful stay at this newly built property. The bed was comfortable, and the entire space was quiet, making it perfect for a restful sleep and relaxation. There's street parking available, which was convenient. The breakfast was also a highlight — delicious and accompanied by tasty coffee. Overall, it was a fantastic weekend getaway, and we would definitely return. Highly recommend!

This hotel is one of the iconic symbols of the beloved resort town Jurmala, located on the main street, just a few steps away from the beach. It’s absolutely peaceful, equipped with all the necessary amenities—though not directly in the rooms—you can stay for days and no one will disturb you unless you request trash removal 🙂. The staff is efficient, the rooms are spacious, the beds are excellent, and the view from the upper floors is a delight. The breakfast is more than varied, tasty, and carefully prepared; I found it even more satisfying this year than last. The only downside is the slightly sweet pudding served as an omelette, but it’s no big deal—we can always have a real omelette at home. But the atmosphere at Jurmala Spa, the one we crave all year long, can only be found right there.

Jūrmala during winter is very quiet, with not many people around, making it perfect for relaxing. At the same time, the town still feels alive – many places remain open, including restaurants like Veranda and Marmar Café, as well as shops and concert venues. There is a water park nearby, and you can easily take a train or bus to Riga in about 40 minutes for a short visit. Jūrmala beach is ideal for a long walk or even a swim, depending on the season.

There is spa available for day pass £25 for adult for 2.5 hours in Jurmala Spa hotel. No need to book in, walk in welcome. Excellent facilities and kids friendly lots to do. I went twice wile on my trip. Lots of lovely restaurants, bubs and shops to explore for all liking. You can have lovely walk on the beach, it has activitys available and Caffè to enjoy during and view even if it's windy.

If you like walking on the beach or along quiet streets with nice wooden villas and modern apartment houses between pine trees-Jurmala is right place for you. If you are lucky with weather, you will enjoy endless sandy beach.

To be honest I traveled from Riga to Sloka train station and it took about 50 minutes and cost €2.50. I was staying so near the beach I didn’t go into the town at all just walked on the beautiful beach every day!

Jurmala is lovely but it is small town.

Jurmala is lovely but it is small town. There are some nice restaurants and cafes. The beach is beautiful, sandy and clean. It's a great location for getting into Riga. Trains are regular, clean and modern. 2 euro for a single, 30 minute journey to Riga. It's worth getting the boat from the wee jetty into Riga late afternoon. It's a 2.5 hour journey, its lovely, relaxing and great value at around 15 euro

We stayed at Baltic Beach Hotel for one night and had a wonderful experience. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options. The service was superb, professional, attentive, and friendly throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the spa and massage, which added a perfect touch of relaxation to our visit. This has become our favourite place to stay, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. We will definitely return again!
