Jurmala is lovely but it is small town.
Jurmala is lovely but it is small town. There are some nice restaurants and cafes. The beach is beautiful, sandy and clean. It's a great location for getting into Riga. Trains are regular, clean and modern. 2 euro for a single, 30 minute journey to Riga. It's worth getting the boat from the wee jetty into Riga late afternoon. Nice and comfy town full of separate houses with gardens. It's very popular place for domestic tourists and for tourists from nearby countries so you wouldn't be surprised by local prices and entry fees - please remember if you traveling by car you have to pay entry fee - about 3 euros per day The best place of course is the Jurmala beach - there are many things to do, so just relax, enjoy the sea and be happy thereGuest review byGrigoriy

Apartament is situated in a quiet part of resort, walkable distance from central part and only 3-5 min to the beach. The space is very well organized and furnished, with everything what is necessary for a longer stay as we stayed only one night. Professional staff at reception welcomed us and explained everything we needed to know about our stay. The beds were comfortable and the SPA area was very nice too, multiple sauna's and two different pools, we also enjoyed the pool bar, we had a couple of very delicious coctails there.
