The communication from the owner was unmatched; checking to see how I was during the snow storm and if all was well. Jaunpils pils is a small and truly beautiful medieval castle. It has a small museum and an amazing restaurant. Staying in the castle is a very special experience, I stayed in the Medieval room with a nice bath and a very beautiful fireplace. The food was delicious and I loved the beer from the local brewery. When you stay in the castle, the visit to the museum is free, and we also visited the mill.
