Unbelievable luxurious villa set amongst the beautiful Moroccan 🇲🇦 countryside, hosts Amma & Mohamed were excellent and the food was the best we had eaten after a week of exploring the restaurants of Essaouira. We only stayed the one night as close to airport for an early flight home but wish we had longer, villa would be an ideal base for exploring the area, would 100% recommend Villa Amma.

The receptionist spoke fluent English and was very welcoming, offering sight seeing tips and restaurants that serve Wine during Ramadan. We chose and enjoyed the 3 course dinner offered at the hotel, and paid with Credit Card. Breakfast was served by a very friendly lady, consisting of eggs, cheese and a variety of baked goods and condiments.

Tangaro is a very special place. From the minute we arrived at this beautiful retreat, with gorgeous traditional blue and white earthen architecture, intricate tiling, and lush cactus gardens I knew we were going to have the most incredible experience. The vibe is so relaxed, and you can feel the caring connection with nature. Staff Rashid & Ouhdan Khalil make Tangaro an even deeper beautiful experience than even the gorgeous environment shows on the surface. So welcoming and a pleasure to hang out with. They cared for our stay and we couldn’t have been happier. The food here is outstanding and is about love and sharing. We had traditional tagines, Moroccan breakfasts with delicious melon, fresh curd cheese, local honey, homemade bread, and the best pastilla fragranced with almonds and orange blossom water.

Everything! Sofitel has not one flaw. Yousra and Ines especially made our stay the most comfortable it possibly could be. They have been so helpful and really made Sofitel shine as much as it already does. Everything from the atmosphere, the ambience the design and the staff is 5 star quality. Me and my sister have fallen in love and will definitely be back it truly is the best place in Essaouira. Thankyou so much to all the staff, and personal thanks to Yousra and Ines. This beautiful new boutique hotel is stunningly designed, with every detail carefully thought through and perfectly in harmony. The architecture blends seamlessly into the peaceful countryside, and the interior décor is refined and consistent throughout. The Tamegroute pottery in particular added such a unique touch. The palm tree-lined driveway creates a sense of grandeur as you arrive. From the terrace, the views of the surrounding landscape are simply breathtaking. The pool is delightful: the water temperature was just right, and the sun loungers were comfortable. We stayed in the most basic (and therefore cheapest) room, but it was absolutely perfect: beautifully decorated, a comfortable bed, and a fantastic shower. This is the ideal place to escape the busy work life and truly relax. Some other reviewers mentioned the access road, but we honestly don’t understand the complaints. It’s just a typical Moroccan gravel side road, easily manageable if you drive slowly – as you should anyway, since you often come across goat herds on the way! The food is delicious; not an extensive menu, but that makes perfect sense for such a small-scale hotel where guests often dine in Essaouira. This way, every meal is fresh and nothing goes to waste. The tajines were outstanding, cooked with love, and the breakfasts were a real treat too: different types of pancakes, bread, a freshly made omelette. What really sets this hotel apart is the wonderful staff. We have traveled to Morocco before and know the warmth of Moroccan hospitality, but the kindness and genuine care of this team were truly exceptional. During our stay, nothing was ever too much trouble. Each staff member, in their own way, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, and they did it from the heart! They also had a wonderful team spirit among themselves, which made us feel like part of the Zayyna family. Saying goodbye was genuinely difficult.

A beautiful house to end our stay in Morocco. Chrystele, Bruno and Abdul were the perfect hosts, and served up an amazing breakfast every morning. We were extremely well looked after, but it also felt like we were with friends. We had dinner every night which was always faultless and got to eat with a different group of people each night who were staying in their motorhomes. A cosy fire was the perfect end to the evening.
