This is my second time visiting Chefchaouen. It's a fantastic experience staying in this family-run hotel. The host Ahmed is the most passionate guy I have ever met. Gave us all the necessary, no-nonsense, thorough, and current advices about touring Chefchaouen. They even set up a nice kitchen in the rooftop, which is not common here, so we can enjoy breakfast conveniently. The location is a little away from the touristic medina. But it's just a safe, short 10-15 minute walk. We did it twice. You just have to follow the major road. Or you can take a cheap taxi ride, around 20-30 MAD. Ahmed help us get the taxi twice going to the medina. Going back with taxi is no problem either. All our two taxi drivers know the place well. Overall, it's a nice place, and super value stay.

Great location, close to everything you want to be close to but away from the hassle. The hostel is really clean and facilities are at a high standard. The staff are all really nice, going above and beyond sorting out football tickets in another city etc. There was a misunderstanding with my washing - mistakes happen but it's how someone deals with making a mistake that is a true test of their character. They admitted their fault, were extremely gracious & polite and rectified the situation very quickly.

We loved staying at Riad Mauritania. Communication was great, and check in was easy. We booked a double room and we were very comfortable. There were plenty of toilets and showers with hot water. Most importantly, our experience was so special because of the staff. We spoke a lot with Mohammed, and watched the football with another member of staff. We felt so welcomed and at home. They also helped us with everything, and showed genuine care for us. We recommend everyone to stay here on their stay to Chefchaouen.

This hotel is located the middle of blue area. From view from the common top terrace is amazing. Staffs are so kind, helpful and generous. The price is also more than fare. I strongly recommend this beautiful hotel.

This riad was situated in a very nice and easy area to walk. The staff was very friendly, and the bedrooms were big, clean, and very comfortable. The riad has two large, nice verandas to relax and enjoy the phenomenal views of the town.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this guesthouse in Chefchaouen – by far the best apartment during our 3-week trip across Morocco! The rooms are spotlessly clean, with fresh, crisp bedding and brand new fillings. The bathroom was flawless – equipped with slippers, toiletries, and a hairdryer. The interior design beautifully blends Moroccan style with European standards, offering both charm and comfort. The terrace offers a stunning view of the surrounding mountains, and in the evenings you can enjoy Moroccan rosé wine and delicious appetizers – such a nice touch! The staff is extremely friendly and professional, speaking very good English. Special thanks to Hamza, who was incredibly helpful with recommendations for local attractions, things to do, and how to best enjoy the area. We initially planned to stay just one night but ended up staying for two, thanks to Hamza’s great suggestions – including a super relaxing visit to the waterfalls and a delicious local tajine for just 70 dirhams. The area is truly picturesque, and the whole experience felt authentic and welcoming. We sincerely recommend this place to anyone visiting Chefchaouen!
