A Dream Stay at Aurum Dunes Luxury Camp! I recently had the most unforgettable experience at Aurum Dunes Luxury Camp in Merzouga, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was beyond exceptional—the staff welcomed us like family, offering traditional Moroccan tea as we took in the breathtaking views of the golden dunes. The tents were pure luxury—spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, with all the amenities you’d expect from a high-end retreat. Waking up to the sunrise over the dunes was truly magical, and the tranquility of the desert made it feel like a dream. But the highlight of our stay? The off-road ITV adventure! Riding across the dunes in a powerful buggy was an absolute adrenaline rush. The guide was experienced and ensured we had a thrilling yet safe ride, making it one of the best experiences of my life! Evenings at the camp were just as special—delicious traditional food, live Berber music under the stars, and a cozy campfire where we shared stories with fellow travelers. Everything about Aurum Dunes felt authentic, warm, and incredibly well-organized. If you’re looking for a perfect mix of luxury, adventure, and true Moroccan hospitality, this is the place to be. The location is perfect in the desert and there is just beds in the tent ,but there are public showrooms which is very clean with hot water for shower as well,the breakfast and dinner is very delicious and plentiful for us with high price ratio,all the staff especially moha and brahim who made our stay comfortable ,recommended!

We had a fantastic time at the desert camp. The staff was friendly, the location was ideal, and the surroundings were stunning. We had a great time doing activities like quad biking, camelriding, 4×4explore nomadic desert and sandboarding. The meals were delicious, especially the lunch we reserved with barbecue, salad, and fruits. The night under the stars with music was incredible. Thank you so much.

We enjoyed this camp very much. The location is perfect, closer to big dunes and you can wander on them right when you arrive. The tents are spacious and comfortable. There is no AC, but there is a fan. Shower area very clean and lots of nice sitting areas around the camp. The view of the stars was beautiful, all staff very friendly and hospitable. We did the sunrise camel ride and quad biking around sunset. I highly highly recommend going on the quad, it was my favourite. We stayed at the camp 2 nights in July and so not many guests. I think cooler months would be more enjoyable than the heat of July- if you are deciding what time of year to come- but we still enjoyed it very much. Mohamed and his team and family are really great. Keep in mind all activities are extra charges ranging from 15-30 euro per person. Plus the 30 ish euro each to go to and from camp (per person). You will get messaged all prices and activities and options once you book. Really great thing about this camp is that the fee you pay to get To the camp AND back is the same charge that other camps ask for each way. This camp is VERY highly recommended by me and my husband. It was peaceful, quiet, and at night there was some lovely drumming, dancing and a fire. Lastly, the food was incredible. Absolutely delicious. (We are not vegetarian and the meats were superb) Sometimes you worry if you are getting what is in the picture and in this case you don't need to worry at all. Loved it! Special thanks to Mohamed for making our trip perfect.
