We made this our base for a brief trip away from Marrakesh because of the oasis. Definitely worth coming to see the old way of life as a contrast to the city, and the mud brick kasbahs. The hotel is fairly remote, and you will need either to hire a car or as we did use transport provided by the hotel for trips to the local market, palm groves, oasis, etc. "Maison 'd'hote Amridril" is a charming small venue. About six rooms only which form a row of low buildings in traditional style. Provisions are basic but adequate, the ornamental gardens are stocked with a abundant variety of plants and food can be provided on site cooked in the kitchen using produce from the hotel's own gardens. The swimming pool is a major feature, clean and well maintained and a couple of visitors arrived from other local hotels without one to use the pool. Overall, the hotel, having only six rooms is very quiet and peaceful. Aziz the manager and his assistants could not do enough to make our stay pleasant. Very accommodating host.
Very accommodating host. The only issue was the mattress, which was changed as soon as it was brought to the host's notice. Meals were prepared by the lady of the house. Breakfast was included, evening meal was optional. Wifi was excellent. The hosts own palm and pomegranate orchards locally, and offered tours within his family's ownership and around the vast & historic Skoura oasis, with its many and varied casbahs. There is a range of places to eat in Skoura, an interesting street market and good banking.Guest review byNigel

Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the large, beautiful pool. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, and the surroundings are beautifully maintained. The staff is exceptionally friendly. They prepared a delicious dinner for us, and the breakfast was excellent as well. We highly recommend this hotel. The property is exceedingly beautiful, with tastefully decorated rooms, a large garden filled with spots to sit and relax, multiple beautiful terraces and a clear respect for traditional building styles and techniques.
