It is best to have a hire car if you want to explore.The roads into the mountains are all tarmac.

A lovely family riad turned into a wonderful guesthouse with spacious rooms and nicely decorated public areas. It is surrounded by a huge garden, very calm and quiet, and worth a visit for its own sake. The staff was nice and attentive, and breakfast was good and nicely presented.
