You really don't need to stop here and stay over...
You really don't need to stop here and stay over... The todra gorge is beautiful to see, but you could drive up to it and out again. I recommend stopping at Family el Mabrouk restaurant on your way into the gorge for a truly authentic experience. They are so full of energy. Tinerhir is very authentic, with beautiful landscapes of the kasbah and the palmeraie. Nice panorama's and the Todra gorge is closeby. We arrived by bus and had lunch at the mosque square. To be clear, we stayed outside of Tinerhir closer to the gorge. But, the area has extraordinary beauty and it was well worth the long drive from Marrakesh. We were there for only 24 hours and could have stayed a couple of more days for hiking and just soaking in the landscape.Guest review byKenCanada

Ismael was a wonderful host, making sure we were always comfortable and happy. He cooked delicious food and made the best tea I've had in Morocco. The hotel is in a lovely location with an amazing view of the lush gardens in Todra. Additionally, it is super close to most of the climbing in the gorge - close enough to walk (2km max).
