This was the perfect oasis in Podgorica for our family on a very hot afternoon . The apartment was wonderful and incredibly clean with everything we needed and Sasa and his family were incredibly hospitable and sent us to a wonderful local swimming spot on the river just 10 mins drive away, which we would have never found ! The city centre is a mere 10 mins drive .

Stunning location in near isolation, immaculately kept and with a lovely owner. Amazing walks from the doorstep of a traditional hamlet and the opportunity of a unique horse riding experience. Waking to see cows, horses, dogs and cats on your doorstep is different! Boris is really helpful and has lots of information and advice about the area. No WiFi in the house, but if you really need it you can access local network from a rock a minutes walk away. Would definitely recommend Ribnjak restaurant a 20 minute drive back towards the main road - the food is really, really good. Access roads are a little daunting but you get the hang of them and the locals are very good about helping with passing, just stock up on provisions before you go. If you’re a light sleeper I would suggest you close the windows at night as the cows have bells!

The house itself was spacious, very clean, and well-equipped, ideal for families or a quiet getaway. Everything was exactly as described, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. The hotel is lovely on all accounts. You can easily walk around the city centre from it. They have comfortable bikes to hire, and there is an extensive park up a nearby hill with bike paths, views and cafes. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Ours had 3 comfortable chairs in a double room. Good air-conditioning. The breakfast was outstanding: a carefully selected and excellent range of local food which was extremely tasty unlike many bland hotel breakfasts. The airport transfers and sightseeing taxis organised by the hotel went smoothly and were well priced. The ground floor restaurant and terrace has a good range of food and drinks and a relaxed ambience. The staff were very helpful with storing luggage and other requests.
