This is a really, really special experience for anyone wanting to feel the bliss of absolute peace in stunningly beautiful surroundings. The moment we arrived we 'switched off' and totally relaxed. There are two houses next to each other but while we were there the other was empty. The wooden house itself is perfectly equipped (shower room, mini kitchen, living area, towels, shampoo, fridge, hob, tea towel, washing up stuff, smart TV, a bottle of wine, portable torch etc.) and very comfortable. You can sit on a sofa, on the porch at a table overlooking the valley or in a swing chair dangling in the living room! Upstairs you'll find one double and two single beds. It's a very soporific space with delightful views out of the triangular windows. The nearest supermarket is in Savnik (20 minute drive) but about 200 meters away from the house, you will also find a restaurant where Ljilja will 'rustle you up' some tasty home cooked food from the 'menu in her head'! We also went there just for coffee too. We walked north along the valley which eventually takes you into 'the middle of nowhere' (We also tried to climb up a steep path up to the top but would not recommend that). Mostly however, we read and stared at the view and watched the weather over the valley change from misty, to sunny, to stormy and to sunny again!

Peaceful and quiet, pretty much in the middle of nowhere which is what we wanted. The cabin was just lovely, so cosy and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Host was super helpful 😊 bed was also super comfy. Thank you!

This place is magic. Set in little hills, with beautiful scenery on edge of national park. Animals, horses wondering around. Accommodation impeccable. Host was so welcoming and kind. Let the kids on his horses in the morning and was lovely to them. You can do rides I think into the national park which our kids were too young for, but would be amazing.

Everything was fantastic. Simplicity of check-in, an amazing host who greeted us, gave us instructions on where we can go, even made as some cake. Accommodation is great, spacious, comfortable and has everything you need, The best part is the space in front of the house especially for our furry friend. In short we will come again

I was truly amazed by this place from the moment we arrived. The cottage sits on a hill nestled in the heart of the gorge, with cliffs towering overhead and nothing but peace all around. Our hosts greeted us with genuine warmth, surprising us with а plate of fresh homegrown cherries—a sweet touch that made our stay even more special. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, thoughtfully designed, and simply beautiful. Inside, you’ll find everything you might need (and a few extras you forgot). The terrace is perfect for sipping morning coffee in silence or enjoying a glass of prosecco at sunset while watching the rocks glow. The location is ideal: from Komarnica it’s easy to reach Žabljak and the Sedlo Pass, and you can hike right through the gorge itself. Highly recommended!

Incredible location, secluded and close to some amazing hikes. Some great restaurants near by. Everything has been thought about inside and it was very comfortable. The host was so kind and helpful, he left a couple of bottles of wine for us and even left a cake to help us celebrate my birthday which was lovely! Would highly recommend the cabin and local area.
