This is an accomodation you cannot miss if you are travelling in this part of Montenegro! It is absolutely fabulous & exceeded all our expectations! The accomodation is modern, clean & comfortable & the pool in the olive groves is really special, with pool lounges for the guests & a really peaceful, relaxing feel. We stayed 2 nights & as it was hot, we appreciated the air conditioning. The food is truly exceptional!! The included breakfast was incredible with a huge selection. We chose to have lunch & dinner at Mashtra Olive House as we loved the food so much! The seafood & the produce were very fresh & every meal we had on the menu was fantastic. Be aware though that the restaurant is heavily booked at peak times, so make sure you book your table on the terrace. We loved sitting on the terrace surrounded by olive trees & the gentle sea breeze keeping us cool! There is a beach a few minutes drive away, but at peak times it is quite busy so it is great to have the option of returning to the pool to swim. My husband & son saw sea urchins at the beach so recommend to have reef shoes to swim. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Loved the property design. With all rooms facing the pool. Pool was lovely. The breakfast room and breakfast were great. Lots of selection and very tasty. I liked the quiet jazz that played at the resort. It was all very soothing. I liked the balcony with the clothes drying rack. Very handy for doing laundry and drying towels

Ulcinj beach area is for the most part quite dirty and littered. There are people prepared to scam you readily. We did like the fortress area and found a cleaner beach near there (Liman Beach) that we quite liked.

The town was lacking good rsxtaurants and the genera feel of the town was that it caters more for Balkan tourism than international guests. With basically no good restaurants (they all semmed to serve excactly the same thing) makes this for a poor destination, We tried a few of te beach cubs, and found them very noisy and not really attractive.

The city is easily accessible and quite clean. During peak season (July, August) there is traffic but it is manageable. I find majority of the city is walkable. Many restaurants, shops, coffee shops and local markets for groceries available. Beaches have both public and private beaches close to each other. For public beach it is just sand so bring your own umbrella and blanket. Private beaches have chairs and umbrella for €15-25 depending on time of year and beach. Note, beach showers and bathrooms are not the best or they may not exist so need to pre plan a little. Food is good, pizza, seafood, pasta and local cuisine. English is spoken in majority of the shops. The old city is accessible and worth a visit, both at night and day.

The only means of transport is car/taxi, there are just very few intercity-buses. If you are interested in guided tours, there are no offers in Ulcinj and you would have to go to the nearest touristic city - Bar - if you want to go on an excursion.

Good restaurants in The Old Town.

Good restaurants in The Old Town. Kind people everywhere, good prices, funny city traffic with Balkan rules, but no one was rude, no claksons. The biggest negative is waste everywhere in the streets - bottles, cigarettes, papers, plastic bags, old tree branches, leafs.. It´s a pitty because I thing Ulcing is nice town with its special atmosphere and keeping it clean would raise interest of it. City beach is i a one word just horrible. The Long beach is very very nice and much more cleaner but not clean. We enjoied our holiday but the waste was very negative thing.

Ulcinje is quite clean and the climate in Summer is agreable because of the sea. In general in Montenegro and in particular in Ulcinje, the cleanliness could be improved. Also maybe some more efforts to promote local agriculture ´s products. Beach activities, fish restaurants in the old Town, Green market, mountains around.

A very modern and attractive hotel with nice rooms and a swimming pool. Good breakfasts. A member of staff was very helpful regarding my arrival time which was related to a minibus departure from Ada Bojana. Ulcinj has two main areas, the historic town I know from previous visits, and the starting point of the huge beach, the Velika Plaza. This hotel is better located for the latter. Many restaurants are nearby as you walk to the beach. Enjoyed a nice meal at the Kafana Rekord in town.

The apartment is well equipped. Location is in the center of Ulcinj with easy access to the good restaurants. (I highly recommend La Tavola - affordable prices, fresh ingredients and tasty meals) You can park in front of the hotel and can see the car from the window, but take in consideration that the parking spaces were limited. (We paid 9€ daily) Also, the staff was friendly.

ApartHotel & Spa Kasmi is superb accommodation, just a 15 minute walk from the old town of Ulcinj. The room was quiet, spacious, very clean with comfortable bed.The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of options. The hotel is located in the old city of Ulcinj, which is a very nice location if you want to experience the charme of the old city and stay close to many restaurants, but it has its disadvantages. The hotel has a very good restaurant with a great view over the sea.
