Staff: very helpful, got me a scooter, helped me with a bus to go to Bagan, Balloon flight that was amazing, lent me a charger and was always super nice. Room: comfortable bed, places to put luggage, good towel. Bathroom: clean but not a lot of water from the shower. Location: in old Bagan, not so many places to eat around, but easy to get to the 2 most important roads in Bagan to see the temples by scooter. Note: all city has power cuts during the day and during the night. During the night they have a generator, not during the day.

The roof terrace is the best asset, but there are no views of the river or stupas. The breakfast is pretty decent, and the people working there, and in the frontdesk are polite and serviceminded. Not so impressed by the room or the bed, or even hotel location. Internet is horrible, but parts of Myanmar struggle with that. Also frequently power outages is common. The Bagan area is amazing to explore, I did it on an electric scooter, and a balloon. Consider if you want to stay in new Bagan or old Bagan is my best tip.

Bagan Thiripyitsaya Sanctuary Resort is a beautiful place where I truly enjoyed my stay. What I loved: • Stunning surroundings – The garden and river view are breathtaking. It’s an absolutely amazing sunset location. • Peace and comfort – The hotel is quiet and relaxing, perfect for unwinding. • Attentive staff – Very kind and helpful, always quick to assist. • Nice breakfast – Tasty food in a lovely setting. Overall, it’s a fantastic place with one of the best sunset views in Bagan!
