We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is new, very clean, and offers a beautiful view from the window. We were especially impressed by the delicious breakfasts and the friendly, attentive staff. When we arrived, there was no water in our room, so we were accommodated for one night in a nearby hotel. However, this did not negatively affect our experience in any way. Everything was well-organized and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our time here and would be happy to return. Highly recommended!

The hotel has a best location you can imagine by being close to the airport as well as all main sights of the island and still remain being not touristic with a local charm. The hotel stands at the beautiful beach, bus stop for airport or Valletta is in front of the hotel entrance, all rooms are sound proof (even if they were not, it is very quite after 23:00, no noisy groups or loud music in all the neighborhood), have a sea view, chairs and table at the terrace, good A/C, comfortable bed. Don't miss having a meal at the hotel restaurant, the food is fantastic there. Hotel team are all very nice and kind, and make you feel welcomed like their own guest. I shall be definitely staying there again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely apartment near Pretty Bay beach and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I stepped inside, I was struck by the bright and airy feel of the space! The apartment is beautifully furnished and decorated with such a cute beachy vibe that perfectly complements its surroundings! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook meals and there is plenty of space to sit and dine. The living room is cozy and comfortable, with a large TV and a comfortable sofa. I loved the terrace!!! - Wine, BBQ and watching the beautiful lights of the free port! *chef's kiss* Super highlight of this apartment is its location. It is just a short walk from the beach, so I was able to enjoy the sun, sand and super close to a lot of gorgeous sites - Ghar Dalam, Marsaxlokk Village, Wied Iz-Zurrieq and Village of Birzebbugia. The area is also filled with great restaurants, cafes. Would recommend shopping around the local greengrocer (2 mins away from the apartment) and cute bakeries! Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable beach getaway. The host is always a call or message away!

Birżebbuġa is a chill, authentic Maltese seaside town — quieter than the busy tourist spots, with a nice waterfront, great local food, and an easy base for beaches like Pretty Bay and quick trips to Valletta and the south of the island.

Not your normal seaside holiday resort.

Not your normal seaside holiday resort. The freeport as a back drop can be a bit of a shock but is soon overlooked. The Village is quaint with ample facilities, but not the place for people looking for nightlife. Lovely. Great time had by all our family.

The town is well situated and easy to access from the airport. Buses are regular, so other parts fo the island are easily accessible. There is a small sandy bay which is great for families. They have life savers, a wheelchair ramp down to the water, water buggy and chair lift for the disabled. There is a wide, modern promenade which includes sporting and exercise facilities, a stage and restaurants dotted around this area. The restaurants hardly offer traditional/typical maltese food (burger, pasta and pizza was the on offer everywhere) and the night life is non existent. The available facilities are not used to their full potentional sadly.

We live on Gozo and carry Malta Resident ID cards but do truly enjoy visiting Birzebbuga two or three times a year , It is close to the Malta International Airport but has a more Maltese feel that many other tourist destinations on the Island. Excellent restaurants, safe beaches and easy access to Valletta and many spectacular historic locations. However if you are reading this with the intent of visiting the Maltese Islands, do also try to visit our own home Island of Gozo, It is very different from Malta,

It's a typical little Maltese town.

It's a typical little Maltese town. We found it interesting watching the cargo ships being loaded. No big supermarkets but lots of little shops. Covo ,Dar is sajjied and District Five restaurants were fine dining but the other restaurants on the beach served excellent quality food.

Birżebbuġa itself is an ok place, nice walks through the park and on the beach and ie you like looking at large container ships unloading cargo, (Pretty bay is a free port) it's the place for you . The only thing I would recommend about Birżebbuġa the warm water of the beach (the beach is full of cigarette buttes and litter) and the public bus leaving Birżebbuġa (it's only 2.50 euro anywhere and you can use the same ticket within 2 hours on any public bus) You may enjoy Birżebbuġa because it has a beach there aren't many sandy beaches in Malta. I do not give Pretty Bay apartments as good a rating as Booking.com it's a lot worse.

Both Birzebbuga and this amazing house were very pleasant surprises to us, as longtime Malta visitors/residents. The town is very close to a few less touristy beaches and to the airport, and it's an enormous house, not a studio at all - complete with balcony, 2 showers and toilets and a spacious living space! And our host was always available for all our little questions.

Took this at the last minute to have a hotel close to the airport. The place is great bang for bucks near marsakloxx and the airport. It has a rooftop with a small pool, enough to cool down after a hot day. Breakast is a decent small buffet.
