We had a great stay and the best time at the C resort. The style of the hotel is a mix of modern and boho and this was pretty cool. It offers everyone a great experience: children, young people but also elderly people. When we arrived at the first week of february the hotel wasn‘t completely fully booked. So they gave us an upgrade to a sea view room. The room and also the bathroom were so big and there was more than enough space for all of our stuff. The hotel is really clean and the beach is also great. In the afternoon is the wind on the beach stronger than in the morning. But this is no problem because you can also spend your time in the spa. They have hamam and sauna and offering a lot of other treatments. I did a 90minutes hot stone massage and it was great. The prices at the spa are fairly. The spa looks very beautiful and you can spend your time there to relax. The gym has technogym equipment. Other (group) sport activities such as circuit training, beach volleyball or stand up paddling are also included. The hotel doesnt’t offer any diving experience but some minutes by foot from the resort there is a diving center @ the ‚Maritim hotel‘ where you can go diving. Unfortunately they don‘t offering nitrox to the time I was staying there so I looked after a good alternative for diving and found one in the north of Mauritius called ‚Crystal Divers Mauritius‘. I can really recommend it. It is about 60 minutes away from the resort but it is worth. I went there with a taxi and the hotel did the organisation for me. They have really good conditions with fix prices. They have a contract with one organisation. Therefore the taxi drivers are always the same. The taxi drivers were friendly and gave us a lot of insider tips. This was pretty cool and helpful for us. The food in the resort was great. They are offering breakfast, lunch and dinner at the buffet restaurant. You also can have a afternoon snack at the bistro.

We had a wonderful holiday from start to finish, the entire team in the hotel were exceptional so warm, friendly and happy. We were celebrating our anniversary and to our delight and surprise were offered a complimentary package with several surprise options. All the facilities in the hotel were exceptional and the cuisine in all outlets was to a very high standard with lots of choices. We highly recommend a must visit to the Indian and Chinese restaurant, equal to a Michelin star standard.

    Horrible experience trying to book the complimentary boat for snorkelling. Your guest relations team says to check in the morning since the boat club has closed. They should be able to access & make reservations 24 * 7 - Simply unacceptable answer. If the boat is full, get another boat to make the guests happy: it costs very little. We ended up renting a boat for 5,000 MUR & had a great time. The resort is too large for personalized service.

    A very nice place to stay right on the beach. Had half board the food was good. The place was clean and the staff were very friendly. Tours were reasonable priced. Hotel was a very affordable and good value for money.

    Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are...

    Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are hotels and a golf course without much else. So if you are looking for a resort with facilities ie shops / bars & restaurants outside of your hotel there isn't much within walking distance there is hardly anything. If you have a car Flacq is a 15 min drive away with the Market and Supermarket. The beach is quiet and beautiful.

    Staff is wonderful, helpful and well informed.

    Staff is wonderful, helpful and well informed. They go out of their way to assist. Ravin is an amazing person. We had only breakfast included. Food and drinks are generally quite expensive. Similar to what you will pay in a 5 star hotel in London. Gardens and facilities are excellent. Will definitely visit again. A small complaint about housekeeping was immediately attended to and a bottle of champagne was offered as a gift.

    Horisun really exceeded our expectations. The room was very spacious and bathroom also. Very clean and calm. The AC was great. They changed the towels every day. The owners are the nicest people that I have met and talking to them was a fun experience. They arranged us a tasty dinner and arranged a taxi when we went on. I was breathless when I saw their beautiful garden. The walk to the beach was only 10 minutes. I could go on but I have to say you can't go wrong visiting Horisun when you want to stay at Belle Mare.

    The beach and ocean views are breathtaking with crystal clear water. The staff are a credit to the hotel, they all do their best to make sure all your needs are met and more. We received great service particularly from Sylvana, Darren, Dheeraj, Krish, Atisha, Navesh, Mr Baboo and Yona. The food was very good particularly for dinner. Free cocktail evening was provided for all guests and afternoon tea and snacks each day. It's the perfect place if all you want is some peace and quiet in stunning surroundings.

    Excellent value for money. We had breakfast and dinners included in our rate and both were good. Staff are brilliant, extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable, with air conditioning, Wi-Fi and small tv. It's a 2 star hotel with pool, but exceptional value for money. Everywhere is clean and rooms are tidied each day. Recommend for a budget stay, everything else in Belle Mare is much more expensive.
