AustriaWonderful resort, we loved our waterfront villas, much better than the sunset villa of our kids. Younos, the chef-cook was great-thanks for everything! Sham our personal guide was perfect. And the cleaning staff( Fahroud) did the best! The beds are very comfortable! We would definitely book a villa with pool again, as having a pool with kids is a great experience. The manta-excursion was very nice, even we didn’t see a whaleshark. Ice cream for free, free water in the rooms and the restaurant.

United KingdomAmiranth’s food was superb and the new addition to the staff team, Dhinush was a great guy, super-friendly and helpful.
Messi welcomed us when we arrived and organised our itinerary for us, another great guy. Nibey gave us a tour of the island and introduced us to local fishermen which was fascinating.
Rahman was also helpful and all in all I can say that it was a wonderful experience and we will be back!

AustraliaAbsolutely loved this place. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great facilities, lots of activities included, the house reef was phenomenal to snorkel. The whole place is beautiful. Unsure why people have whinged about the food in the past, we thought it was great except the desserts.

You're a captivated audience on such a small island but there was more than enough to keep you occupied for the week. I dont recommend. Fisrt time in Riu and the last one. Food and drinks really really poor. always the same. very annoying. You are treated like a $. Beds very bad very used mattress. I asked to change but they dont change. a really bad smell in the shower. Was a really bad experience in this hotel. Angsana Velavaru is magical place. Since arrival everything was exceptionally good. When we arrived at the airport there was representative and she looked after us and took us to sea plane. And when you fly on sea plane you see beautiful island and different shares of water. Resort was really beautiful and clean, Food was very good. I would say must go for all inclusive . Couple of restaurants one with buffet and food was scrumptious. Resort pool was good size and room was so clean including the shower etc. Best experience is scuba diving. Instructor Ahmad was best . Even though it was my first experience . But Ahmad was so calm and made me feel relaxed. My Mrs she backed out at the last moment just before jumping but they did not charge us for that. I am fully impressed with their exceptional services. I saw reel, Carol, touched the turtle, schools of fish, mini sharks and over the water while my mrs were waiting, she saw dolphons.
