Very nice private beach, great food, staff was very kind and very helpful. Beautiful and comfortable room with everything you need, with stunning ocean view. Hotel is located close to the harbour which is very convenient for diving and snorkeling trips. Everything we hoped for (and more!).

I had the most incredible birthday at Bageecha Stay! The rooms were absolutely spotless, with a lovely fresh scent and everything feeling brand new. The service was top-notch – personalized and thoughtful at every turn. The food? Delicious and beautifully presented! One of the best parts is the ability to choose between local Maldivian dishes or European cuisine, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The island is the perfect size for exploring, with clean beaches and stunning ocean views. The view from my room was breathtaking, with the ocean stretching out right before my eyes. The highlight of my stay was taking a boat trip to a deserted island, which turned out to be the most unforgettable experience. It was peaceful, beautiful, and truly magical – a once-in-a-lifetime moment! For those who love to explore, the resort offers bicycles that you can take and ride around the island. It’s a fun and relaxing way to see every corner of this beautiful place. Everything at Bageecha Stay is designed with attention to detail. The rooms were cleaned regularly, ensuring everything stayed fresh and pristine. They even have special branded beach towels, which was a lovely touch and added to the luxurious feel of the stay. Another unique feature of the resort is the sight of planes taking off – a fascinating experience that makes for amazing photos! The transfer from the airport was very comfortable – we were greeted upon arrival, and everything was handled smoothly. Thank you, Bageecha Stay, for an unforgettable birthday! Had the most amazing stay among the three islands we stayed during my trip. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in the perfect location just steps from the beach. The staff were like family and helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Excursions were unforgettable, especially snorkeling with manta rays and turtle point snorkeling. Our stay at the Royal Island Resort was a unique and fantastic experience. We enjoyed every second of it. The resort with all the well maintained facilities and the friendly staff is exceptional. The resort offers everything you can imagine (football, beach volley pitch, indoor sports facilities, table tennis, tennis, water sports etc). It even has a medical center that was handy when I had to see a doctor to confirm that I’m ready to dive. We also enjoyed every morning the extraordinary rich breakfast. In the evening we dined at the a la card restaurant and also had the Italian buffet. We also made use if the dive center and also there the staff was friendly at professional. Special thanks to Habib, Sajid, Budi, Madeline, Sonia, Anjaiah and Shahika who made our stay even more memorable.

I like everything! The island and beach was amazing with a nice coral reef where we saw mantas, a turtle and many nice fishes. The room was super clean, big and comfortable with a nice open bathroom. Facilities like pool and main bar were very nice. The karaoke night was funny and dive center had two nice excursions that we did...one for snorkeling with turtles and one for snorkeling at reethi Island where we saw sharks and turtles too. Possibly I could like more options for group activities for snorkeling. The beach was very clean ad well as all the island. Breakfast and dinner were excellent with many types of food every day. Staff was very efficient and nice. I loved the surprise for my birthday...it was really unexpected! We really relaxed and we will miss reethi beach resort!!!

Dusit Thani was a real treat, and was the perfect tonic after an intense 12 months of work. Snorkelling at the UNESCO biosphere reserve was a true highlight. Shout out to the staff who were all wonderful, especially the footballers at the market. Great to see the organised soccer matches for staff at nightfall - makes you think that staff are well looked after which contributes positively to the overall experience. It was also nice to see John the General Manager getting around the tables at dinner time to speak to the residents - it was a nice personal touch. Accommodation, food, the amenities - all amazing, and cycling around the island turned out to be a whole lot of fun. We will return!
