Small property, former house of the owner, felt like home

typical Maldivian guest house with chill out laid back style - the staff cannot do enough to please you they are all just amazing. Sandro the housekeeper and Mr Shukur the owner met us off the boat with their luggage trolly and walked us to the property where we were greeted by Sushil the reception manager and Anthony the chef. After a refreshing coconut water we were shown to our lovely room. The food is like Indian, Maldivian, Italian fusion. Anthony is a great chef and again just wants to please with his culinary talent. we had a romantic dinner on the beach for Valentines and the time and effort that Sushil and his team put into making it just perfect blew us away. We will definitely be back

Amazing hotel, extra luxury atmosphere. Especially in Sunset water bungalow. You have feelings like you are alone in this unbelievable reefs and ocean view. Rooms close to each other, but you don't feel your neighbours. Very privacy atmosphere. Very respectable and helpful staff. Even you will lose your language in the way - you will find everything inside resort. Nothing impossible. All your needs they will find the way to satisfied you. The lighting sand near the restaurant - only some UNIQUE hotels in Maldives have this privileges. Very nice diving center and trips: we have visited " fishing" and " sharks and turtles" .... It was our second trip to Plumeria hotel on Thinadhoo. The previous one was 2 years ago. The island is just 1.5 hours by speedboat from Male. The Plumeria boats are comfortable and the team skillfully copes with small waves (you don't get seasick). There is a great reef around the island. The house reef was even better than 2 years ago - the corals are reviving and you can see even more fish around; turtles, sting rays and dolphins also included. Mind the sharks though - they are frequently passing after 3 p.m. to their feeding spot. It takes 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel to the canopies of the bikini beach, along the way you have to follow the dress code. There are also canopies just in front of the hotel on the beach if you're too lazy to walk or the weather is unstable. The cleanliness is high. Daily cleaning, twice a day replenish supplies of consumables and water. Excellent buffet. Our meal plan was HB and we really recommend it. Great fresh fruits, intricate desserts, salads, good fish and different special corners with live action. All the staff is very friendly, always ready to help: smiling reception staff, quick waiters, friendly chefs. The general manager Azeez is really caring and arranges everything - including activities on Tuesdays and Fridays and special treatment for repeaters. This was unexpected and very pleasant: free cocktails/ice cream, special hot pot dinner, excursion to a sandbank. They also upgraded our room to a sea view one for free of charges. That was real luxury and we are very grateful for our holiday! As a conclusion, I can assume that Plumeria and Thinadhoo itself is a great place to stay, especially in the low season. There are more canopies on the bikini beach compared to 2 years ago and we were always able to find one even in the prime time.

The atmosphere and the management

This was probably the best vacation I’ve ever had! The true definition of peace and quiet, not only because of the absolutely stunning surrounding natural beauty, but mostly, because all the staff make their best to create an unforgettable experience for the guests. The cleaning service is flawless, food is delicious - most fresh and tasty fish ever - and the private beach feels like an absolute dream. The room has lovely features, the bed is really comfortable, and everything has a very nice, tradicional (but modern) decoration. Many thanks to the owner Rasheed, for always looking after me and encouraging me to make the most of my days in Rakeedhoo. Also Niyah, for being one of the best hosts ever, along with all the rest of the staff, for so kindly always paying attention to detail in order to make me the most comfortable possible. It’s also quite easy to create friendships in between guests, as this friendly environment is promoted by the hotel owner. There are also many other activities available, such as bank sand excursion, snorkeling with turtles, dolphin watching, etc. The staff kindly provides all the necessary informations to the guests.
