United Arab EmiratesWe were relocated to this hotel after our original well-marketed hotel on the same island was overbooked, despite our early booking and confirmation. This hotel has far exceeded our expectations. The room was spotless, spacious, with a balcony, ample lighting, and a lovely bath with a shower. Daily water and coffee were offered, and cleaning services were excellent. The staff was incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful—from reception & restaurant team to managers & cleaners. We were consistently offered assistance, from rides to Bikini Beach to food and amenities.
The perfect balance of personal space and attentive service made our stay incredibly relaxing. Although we didn’t take any excursions (as we just wanted to enjoy the ocean), the hotel also offers various trips, snorkeling, diving, and experiences with whale sharks, mantas, and coral reefs, with equipment provided.
We loved the hotel so much that when our original booking became available, we chose to stay here instead. The breakfast, dinner and local Maldivian meals were good & filling. The hotel’s restaurant offers a diverse menu, with local, Sri Lankan, European, and South Asian dishes, plus desserts. It’s also open to guests from other hotels & locals, all of whom we've seen coming a lot.
Our return trip to Male was flawlessly organized through the hotel, with staff assisting with luggage and escorting us to the jetty.
We highly recommend this hotel and its fantastic staff! We’re now eager to return and explore the Maldives' stunning underwater world.

PolandI spent 7 nights at Vilu Residence and can strongly recommend this guesthouse to anyone who wants to discover the incredible beauty of the Maldives off the beaten track of island resorts. Here, you will have the comfort, peace, and charm of going as local as you can.
The guesthouse is run by an extremely helpful and friendly host, who will provide you with the most detailed advice about the restaurants on the island; he will also assist you in organizing day trips and outings from the island. Rai will go out of his way to accommodate your needs. He met me on arrival and took me to the airport before I flew back to Malé. He also arranged my transfers to and from the island by speed boat and plane.
The breakfast provided was delicious and fulfilling. It was also varied, giving me a choice and taste of continental and Maldivian options.
The guesthouse itself is new, clean, and well equipped. The staff look after it thoroughly.
The village has 2 amazing beaches, one of which - the guest beach - is a perfect place for relaxation and exercise.
If I could, I would return to Villu Residence for a retreat, combining work and rest.
If you have not decided yet on where to stay in the Maldives, you should select this accommodation.

JapanWe have stayed for 5 nights with Sharmar guest house for scuba diving. We initially booked for 3 nights but ended up extending our stay because this place realised our dream holiday. We are super frequent traveller both work and leisure having stayed in so many levels/kinds of hotels/inns in many countries.
What we love about Sharmar Guest house is honesty, friendliness and cleanliness. If you are looking for posh, private, luxury hotel where your desire to be treated as "king and queen" fulfils sort of atmosphere, perhaps this place is not for you because is not 7 star. If you are looking for the place where you feel home and relax with clean, unpretentious atmosphere where you share your diving experiences and passion over beers, under coconut trees on the white sands with other guests and staffs, this is your place to stay in Maldives.
Everyone calls each other with name. You enjoy dives and after dives with lots of laughter. All you need after repetitive diving is rest then bed linens and rooms are super fresh and clean everyday. (tbh much better than many star hotels we have stayed!). Room smells great. Clean bathrooms with sufficient hot water after diving.
Of course I need to mention about kind, patient and knowledgeable diving instructors/guides who make this place even more special. Diving experience was exceptional that we encountered 4 mantas in 2 days, a whale shark, 2 turtles in 2 days, a group of 13 white sharks, hundred of schooling fishes, and breathtaking underwater sceneries...(we have many more diving spots to be explored so will definitely come back !!) Lastly, when you check out, you will probably feel so satisfied and justified seeing your bill just like we did because everything is reasonably priced despite of "Holiday in Maldives". We really would like to congratulate Shamoon and Markus created this place in Maldives. Thank you Shamoon, Markus, Anita, Sein, and crew!

It was not my first time in Maldives and my experience there...
It was not my first time in Maldives and my experience there was disappointing compared to my previous trips in other resorts. The quality of service is poor and it’s a shame because the resort is lovely and the staff are nice but lack professionalism.

Awesome place.
Awesome place. Everything and everyone was perfect until departure.
We stopped by reception twice to inquire about our sea plane departure the following day. We were assured we would receive ample notification. At 4:50am in a deep sleep, we were awaken by a room call notifying us that pick up was in 10 minutes. No time to bathe or pack properly to head into our 19 hour travel journey but yet we had to wait over an hour in reception. Not happy.

We stayed 5 nights there 3 nights at water villa 113 and 2 nights at beach villa 209 and it was the mind blowing experience, I really have no words to explain from staff to facilities to manners to every single detail was more than perfect specially I would like to salute the GM general manager Gavin sanders he is a gem of a person I never saw a gm taking care of guests personally like this and specially I would like to mention the jeevan at morning n dinner buffet and kk at marhab bar cocktailswithkk, and arsham at reception and rani , salute to all of them

Firstly the location of the resort itself is beautiful.
Firstly the location of the resort itself is beautiful.
45 minutes from Male via sea plane so its another journey at the end of a long journey getting to the Maldives but it is worth it.
The over water villa we stayed in was also beautiful and better than i had hoped for.
However after reading lots of other reviews and having stayed here the reviews are very accurate and some very basic things tarnish the overall experience and these are purely the responsibility of the Radisson and the management team in charge.
The miss management is bad and quality of food is unacceptable, its more about very poor quantity of food than any quality and to make things worse the money being charged for this unacceptable food is disgracefully expensive.
