We had an exceptional stay at The Standard Hotel, largely thanks to Koky, our first point of contact. Koky's outstanding responsiveness and efforts to fulfill our requests went above and beyond, enhancing our overall experience. She took us around the island, providing detailed descriptions of everything and suggesting various activities. Koky also arranged a romantic dinner right on the beach, creating a truly memorable evening. Her thoughtfulness extended to serving us a sunset floaty just before the rain started, ensuring we enjoyed the moment. Additionally, the warm greeting with complimentary bubbles and cake added a delightful touch to our arrival. The seaplane trip to the island was a blast, offering a scenic and exciting journey. We had opportunity to taste 3 different Villas: Garden Villa, Horizon Villa & Beach Pool Villa. The first one was just ok and the others were excellent, especially Beach Pool Villa. The Horizon is the most modern, although not recommended during stormy weather. We have enjoyed a lot the food and service at Rayivilla, Aqua and Amigos Restaurants. But the most beautiful is the reef - thousands of fishes. We could see Mantas, sharks and turtle. Special thanks to Tamanna & Rishab.

Our dedicated host was Haroon, and he was fantastic, very kind and so helpful. He even took us on a short tour around the island and introduced us to different aspects of the country regarding nature, environment, wildlife, etc. Don't hesitate to ask for him: he will make your stay perfect! The hotel was exceptional. The dolphin room was just like in a dream with direct access to the sea. The italian restaurant was delicious, and the H2O Restaurant an outstanding experience.

We stayed in a beautiful beach villa right on the beach. Stunning location with lots of privacy. If we wanted action we would head to the Hubba Hubba bar and restaurants. Very friendly staff. We were on the Pemium Exclusive package so unlimited drinks. Great cocktails. The 2 signature restaurants where we ate every night were high end. But the buffet was equally great serving delicious variety of dishes. We used the gym, tennis court, ping pong etc, watched the evening entertainment so there is plenty to do. Went on a catamaran evening sunset cruise - not cheap but worth it especially as it was just the two of us. They also made our anniversary evening special with a 5 course meal. Also loved the sea plane on our return to Male. I did a lot of research before booking Ifuru. And for sure they delivered. Highly recommend!
