The hotel is situated straight on the bikini beach, which offers a lot of swimming, diving, snorkeling and sport spots. Saud and his team were very friendly and always looked for a guest being pleased and hosted well. The room was cleaned every day. As we have booked a full-board, the restaurant nearby was well organized for a lunch and dinner. The food at the same restaurant might be a bit monotonous for a long stay, so we would recommend one week full board and the other week trying food at the different restaurants (Sapora was our favorite one).

With Ranthari you almost have the resort experience of the Maldives. The hotel is a 10 in all aspects, new and regularly maintained and cleaned. The staff is very professional and kind, ready to take care of anything you need. The restaurant is spotless, great breakfast and a la carte menu, with both western and local dishes.. The location is on of the best things about the hotel, you are right at the best part of the bikini beach, which is very long. You can use the sunbeds and towels of the hotel for free, or you can go 50m further to one of the beach bars. The snorkeling on the beach is unbelievable, and is on par with any snorkeling excursions. We were visiting during the rainy season when the weather can change quickly, so its great being so close to the hotel on the beach. In September we only had 1 full rainy day out of the 7 day stay. Ula and Ingvar were amazing, we went on Coral and Manta snorkeling trips with them and it was beautiful. The staff will book your speed boat from/to the airport or other islands. They pick you and your luggage up in a coach so you don't have to haul everything through the sandy roads.

This enchanting getaway truly makes you feel like royalty, whether you're a King, Queen, Prince, Princess, Duchess, Duke, Sir, or Ma'am. My recent week-long stay here felt nothing short of a dream, thanks to the extraordinary hospitality of Shifaz and his incredible team. From the moment I booked my stay, I was treated with genuine care and attention, beginning with the seamless organization of my speedboat transfer and culminating in a warm, personalized meet and greet upon arrival that made me feel like part of the family. I was blessed to stay in villa 105—an incredibly spacious haven featuring a queen-size bed and a single bed. Each night promised restful slumber, allowing me to wake up rejuvenated and eager to start my day. Every morning, a delightful breakfast awaited me on the balcony, always served at my requested time. For a true taste of Maldivian culture, I recommend indulging in the local Maldivian breakfasts. They are a delightful and refreshing way to kickstart your day with nourishing ingredients. The villa itself was immaculate, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful local flowers, making every view a treat. Ganduvaru Villa also felt like a home away from home, offering safety, comfort, and exceptional service. Daily, I was asked if I needed any housekeeping services or fresh towels, and having my laundry washed and ironed added to the convenience of the stay. Just a one-minute walk away, the bikini beaches provided a perfect escape to enjoy the sun and sea. A unique highlight of my stay was the bathroom lighting—a feature that unexpectedly captivated me. With three settings—white, yellow, and my favorite, blue—the lighting transformed the room into a calming oasis. The blue light in particular created a serene ambiance perfect for unwinding or, as I found, having a spontaneous blue-light disco.

We enjoyed our stay at Koimala Beach very much. it is very conviniently located near the bikini beach and some good restaurants and shops. There is a lovely garden where one can unwind and relax on swings. All the meals are served here as well. Choice of breakfast/lunch/dinner was amazing. We liked everything. Our favourite was Maldivian yellow curry and Koimala Special for breakfast. Rooms are well euipped and are cleaned daily. Owner and the staff were very friendly and made sure that we have everything we need to have enjoyable stay. They were very flexible and made things possible. Thanks Abdulla & Ranjith!

We have spent 3 nights at Paguro Villa as a part of our honeymoon. We must admit it was the best and unforgettable stay ever! Thank you to all Paguro Team and especially to Solaman who was our contact person since the booking was made. He and his team helped us with any doubts and made this place to be our home for various days. We had HB regime and it was a great decision - they have an amazing chef: all meals were delicious and they offer a huge variety of meals of high quality (due to morning activities they prepared for us early breakfast). Our room was quiet, extremely clean and the team assisted us with any requests. They have facemasks and flippers for snorkeling - no need to bring it. They organise various excursions: turtles, mantas, sharks, coral reef etc. Incredible value for money, hopefully we can come back one day. 100% recommended, it couldn't be better. The location is incomparable next to all cool spots, beaches and restaurants.

It’s a nice local island.

It’s a nice local island. It’s clearly very popular, as there are at least four new hotels currently under construction. In the future, the place may lose its local atmosphere and become very touristy. The grocery shops offer only a limited selection of goods, not like what we’re used to in Europe.

I didn't like that the island lost most of it's green and I didn't see the wild nature I prefer. There was a lot of construction going on the moment I was there, I felt discomfort because of that. And maybe in 1-2 years it's going to be over I think. But on the other hand there's just amazing diving on the house reef and nearby reefs. There's a lot of nice restaurants and there was no day I felt bored.

Local island only 80 minutes with speed boat from Male and you can experience local life but also get the relaxed beach feeling. The food was not so expensive, we tried a Thai Restaurant nearby and it was delicious. In Ukulhas you can get beautiful beach with corals and amazing sea life. Excursions was way cheaper than in the resort offer. We had private excursion for manta ray, nurse shark feeding, and coral garden with Ocean Excursions Ukulhas with a very good deal price.

A very nice inhabited island.

A very nice inhabited island. We stayed in a hotel front of the bikini beach, on the tip of the island. Staying in the city or opposite site of the island likely not so good. Nice diving! even the close reef in front of the harbor (by boat) - was very nice. Many new hotels under construction unfortunately - so hurry up!

There's a few construction sites on the island.

There's a few construction sites on the island. So, I wouldn't go there because of noise and construction dust. Also, when they finish and fill up those multi-storey buildings, I can't imagine how such a small island can bear so many tourists.

location excellent right by the bikini beach with sun loungers and beach towels available. staff super helpful and rooms immaculate. Restaurant right by the beach and offered excellent excursions - recommend manta and snorkelling safari. We were first out for mantas and were rewarded by snorkelling with 3 before other boats arrived. on snorkelling safari - swam along some if not the best coral reefs in the Maldives. pristine!
