The service was impeccable—every member of the staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay special. They were always ready with recommendations and went above and beyond to ensure comfort and relaxation. One of the highlights was the Temazcal experience—will 100% recommend it! The food was another standout, with fresh, delicious, and locally sourced ingredients that made every meal a delight. The whole property was amazing and inside the jungle. It is surrounded by iguanas, exotic birds and a great variety of plants and flowers. The cenote and the river that exists inside the hotel makes the scenery even more beautiful. There are bicycles that you can use for free in order to move from one place to another, since the hotel resort is huge. In the reception, Michelle is a valuable asset for the hotel, since she is willing to help you for any requests and make your stay unforgettable. A really must do, is the excursions that Gonzalo operates in the hotel. He is so amazing and this guy really loves his job so much!! The river experience is definitely worth it and all these faculties are for free. The cleaning of the room was done 2 times per day and it was the most incredible clean room that we have ever stayed. The type of room was a hacienda with high ceiling where you could enjoy silence and the sounds of the jungle. The hotel, arranged us a surprise in our room for our wedding anniversary with a very romantic decor and a champagne. That was really the best way to start our stay.

What can we say about this stunning hotel?! By far one of the best we have stayed at. The architecture, style, the food (possibly the best hotel restaurant we’ve ever eaten at), the pool, the beach, the spa…everything was pretty much perfect. We had quite a windy day during our stay, which resulted in quite a few mosquitos in the bathroom - hotel services were incredibly quick to come to the room and remove these for us. The bay itself is so picturesque and serene - being a bay, the waves never get too rough, which is perfect for the activities that come as part of the price. All of the staff went consistently above and beyond and little extras like providing a packed breakfast/lunch whilst we were out on early excursions were lovely touches. Amazing, amazing hotel.

VR Club is a property recently reopened under new management, and as they are establishing themselves, the price was a fraction of similar resorts in the Tulum area. I expect that cost to rise much higher after a year. The buffet is delicious, and the staff throughout the property are all super friendly. Samy at the front desk was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Rooms include a Nespresso machine, which was a great perk to have in the morning.

The entire staff was wonderful. They are very professional and hardworking, and they all genuinely seem invested in making sure the guests have a positive experience. Oscar, Janet, Alfredo, Miguel, and others shared countless helpful tips on places to visit in the area— and they were patient with us practicing our Spanish. The upstairs restaurant had excellent ambience. One night we sat downstairs at the bar, where you can watch food being prepared. We were also very happy that this hotel’s location was more remote than the other parts of Tulum we saw.
