It was a lovely room next to a gated courtyard so there was some privacy. The room allowed for two friends to stay together since the coach could be used for a second bed. The air flow through the room was great so that we just had to keep the windows open to get fresh air all day and night.

The hotel is beautiful, with a very intimate feel, with a lovely outdoor path from reception to the guest rooms built into the side of the cliff and gorgeous bougainvillea and other plants lining and hanging over the path down to the beach/pool and restaurant. The rooms are spacious suites and the staff are all friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. We had both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and the food and service were exceptional. We enjoyed drinks on the beach with a lovely view of the water.

My first experience staying in a hostel at Mayan Monkey exceeded all expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the fantastic location, delicious food, and outstanding staff. The hostel's location couldn't have been better, with easy access to all the attractions and landmarks I wanted to explore. Being centrally located made it convenient to navigate the city and soak in its vibrant culture. The food at the hostel was a delightful surprise. The hostel's kitchen staff ensured that guests were treated to flavorful and satisfying meals, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to my stay. What truly set apart was its exceptional staff. Friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile, they made me feel right at home from the moment I stepped through the door. Whether it was providing local recommendations, organizing group activities, or simply sharing stories. As a first-time hostel guest, I couldn't have asked for a better experience than what I found at Mayan Monkey. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and enriching accommodation option in Los Cabos. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Nice apartment building, clean and central. About a 5 min walk to the city and boardwalk. Very nice employees, breakfast on the roof top was absolutely excellent (coffee, juice, eggs, beans, veggies, fresh toast, jam, waffles, honey, sirup…). Great view from up there.
