Such a beautiful and peaceful hotel. So close to the beaches I wanted to visit everyday and a short walk on the malecón to many restaurants. The staff are super kind and helpful and I had no issues with my room. The cafe next to the hotel is great and they do nice breakfasts and meals as well as baked goods and coffee, I stopped by almost everyday. I had a great stay at el Moro and highly recommend if you're looking for a simple and quiet stay in La Paz.

We stayed two nights at Quinta Lolita, one at the beginning of our trip and one at the end. We had a great experience. Since we arrived a bit late, we had to let ourselves in. This was not a problem since everything had been communicated well in advance via the Booking messaging system. The room was ready for our arrival, and it was very comfortable, clean, close to amazing restaurants, and the meeting point of several tours. Coming from Mexico City I was a bit uncomfortable about the fact that we had to park the rental car on the street, next to the hotel, but La Paz is very different from Mexico City and it indeed safe to leave your car on the street, we saw a lot of big and expensive looking cars parked all around the city. We were also allowed to leave our luggage in storage since we checked out a bit late. Quinta Lolita has the best beds I've ever slept on. They were soft but firm at the same time, and they were what we needed after a long day. My only problem was that we could hear some noise coming from the street. For my husband, it was not a problem; he slept through it, but I had to go and find some earplugs. Fortunately, for our second night, we had booked a bigger room that was not next to the street, and that was perfect. We did not cook there, but they had all that you need to make yourself a nice meal. The staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The second time we stayed there, we arrived very early, intending to leave our luggage stored there, but the manager let us get into our room since it was ready. I find that very generous, and it was super helpful to freshen up after a 5-hour trip. Although I travelled with my partner, this place felt very safe for women who travel alone.

Clean and beautiful property with a well kept cactus and succulent garden. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s next to a beautiful. It has three swimming pools and a hot jacuzzi that overlooks the beach, perfect for watch the sunset. The food at the restaurant if oof high quality. I’m not sure when it was built but it felt quite new.

Clean, modern and well kept facility with lovely terrace on the top floor and secure parking. It's located in a clean well lit neighborhood with plenty of restaurants close by and a supermarket. We were a group of three couples in town for shopping and medical purposes and it more than met our needs. The senorita on staff was very friendly and helpful 👍.

Nice Mexican town.

Nice Mexican town. Enough tourists to have a tourist infrastructure but not overrun - at least not in November. Only place in Baja to snorkel with whale sharks, snorkeling with sea lions was also great. MUCH cheaper than Los Cabos area.

Very friendly people. Everyone is very helpful. Playa Coromuel was fantastic. Beat small restaurants were in Esterito area. La Posada is a very well kept secret @ the south end of town. The new construction in the hills on the north end of town is fine, but the infrastructure is very poor - roads r in poor condition; trash EVERYWHERE; sewer lines broken running down the streets. Infrastructure needs much more work to match the condos and homes in the hills. It is VERY IMPORTANT to pay attention when driving. Most streets in downtown are one way & stop signs r a guideline, so u have to pay attention and keep going if there are no cars on the cross streets or you will disturb the flow of traffic.

Feels like real Mexico, not a tourist destination.

Feels like real Mexico, not a tourist destination. Many attractions nearby, easy public transportation, and fair prices for car rental if you want to explore the Todos Santos artesian town or the special beaches, a 30-minute drive from the city, for snorkeling or just enjoying the sun and the blue flat lagoons.

If you’re looking to be away from the noisy Todos Santos town and enjoy a quiet, peaceful and beautiful environment this is it. The view from our deck was expansive with a mountain backdrop and ocean view that on a clear day can see all the way to Cabo. The only disruption on the way to the property might be horses or cows on the beach road. We looked at staying at the hotel nearby, Villa Santa Cruz Hotel just one mile up the road the difference in price was a big factor when we just wanted to experience nature at its finest. We went for dinner at Villa Santa Cruz and enjoyed a great meal on the beach. The truth is it’s a cozy and one room with kitchen and bathroom but the deck view and space makes up for its small size.

This was a first time to La Paz.

This was a first time to La Paz. It was very nice, clean, and not as touristy as Cabo. It was very enjoyable and relaxing. The beaches are gorgeous and the water is amazing. We spent a day fishing and saw many private coves with stunning white sand beaches that are accessible by car. We will be renting a car our next trip to get out of the city more and enjoy the sites along the coastline. Our dinning experiences were all very pleasant. We never had a bad meal. We dined out every dinner, and some lunch and breakfasts. The locals were very helpful with wonderful recommendations. We are already planning our trip next year!!!

La Paz is more mexican than Los Cabos.

La Paz is more mexican than Los Cabos. Los Cabos has a lot of tourists and is normally crowded. La Paz is smaller, not so many bars and nightlife but it's cozy and very calm. Food is good and prices are much lower than in Los Cabos. There are many beaches, so it's a good idea to rent a car, preferably a 4x4 (Ford Bronco or Jeep is enough).

I spent a week at the Sunset Hostel and had such an amazing experience. The volunteers as well as Mariano and Sol are absolutely lovely and take amazing care of the guests. The kitchen is amazing to cook as well as hang out with the rest do the travelers and the different balconies / rooftop / garden provide so much space to hang out. A special thank you to Mariano and Sol for their kindness, and their help with the trip. The next time I come to La Paz, I’ll make sure to come back 🫶

Beautiful property in a perfect location. Super close to all the buzz and life of La Paz, while being a quiet oasis to relax at the end of the day. Luisa is a very helpful and welcoming host. The breakfast is delicious. Although sadly we missed a few being early risers (breakfast is from 9). Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to explore La Paz.

Very beautiful hotel in a great location. However, quite pricey for what you get. The room is beautiful but the bed was too soft and felt old. The bathroom had a slight odor on a daily basis, even after a room change. Staff was friendly but not very helpful. However, great pool and spa l. Central location and very nice on the eyes.

The space is very nice and the host is friendly. The breakfast is also nice with the homemade muffin and granola. I would definitely return to this accommodation if I visit La Paz again.
