The town is ideal for taking a break from the city.

The town is ideal for taking a break from the city. Although small, it offers plenty of dining and activity options. You can easily plan a day trip or a week-long stay. I recommend eating at the market, taking tours, and venturing into El Chico National Park.

Mineral del Chico is a fantastic town, highly recommended. The "Chico Bus" is worth it. It's very small, so you have to arrive early to find parking and enjoy the day. It's a national park, so you should also go to the forest to connect with nature.

Two days and one night were perfect.

Two days and one night were perfect. There isn't much to do as it's a village; you can take a guided tour through the forest or explore on your own, there are a few stalls and markets in the center, and a double-decker bus with guides who show you around the village and tell you its history.

It's a beautiful place with lots of activities. We ate at the hotel restaurant, but it wasn't very much to our liking, although the view is very nice. More information about cabin rentals is needed; there seem to be options, but not much information available. The phone and internet signal is unreliable, but that's understandable since it's a park. I've loved this place for many years.

The pictures do not do this place justice. Such a beautiful cabin, and the bathroom was to die for. So much great outdoor space. The hotel was so communicative and responsive. We loved it!
