It is a very beautiful place not far away from the beach and the main street. The staff was very kind as well. The rooms are clean, big, and come with all necessary equipment. Our favorite part was the heated pool tho!

Delicious breakfast included, all the staff super friendly and helpful. Nice pool that has 2 hottubs as well. Room really comfy with spacious shower, good bed and tv with streaming apps. Rooms get cleaned daily, hotel provides beach/pool towels and umbrella free of charge. Close to the main plaza of Sayulita. Would definitely stay here again for my next trip to Sayulita.

Excellent boutique hotel on a quiet street in Sayulita but only a short walk to the restaurants and bars. Love the minimalist and modern design of the hotel. The cafe has amazing coffee - best I've had in a long time!! We did Yoga on the rook with the Rose Room Yoga which was also terrific. I would definitely come back!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Casa de la Ballena, even with 5 days of rain. The rooms, pool, hot tub and grounds were beautiful. The perfect relaxing environment. The hotel was also in a great location, close enough to easily walk to town but far enough to be quiet in the evening during sleeping time. What made our stay perfect was the on-site hotel manager, Martin. Martin was an outstanding host and helped us with any issues we had, from driving us to town to find an IT store to fix our dead cell phone, helping secure parking for our golf cart rental and arranging airport transportation. He made sure we were happy with all of our time at the Casa de la Ballena. The hotel was a special place with special staff. And, the breakfast is awesome, with many delicious options.

I stayed a little outside of the main part of town, so the beaches were quieter. Downtown the beaches are super crowded. I had the best Italian food and massage I`ve ever had. L`Ulivo - have the ravioli and Nirvana Spa ask for Carolinia!

No cash in the ATM’s for three weeks . Day trippers from PVR could get by but people visiting for a month or so found this very inconvenient . Adding to this problem was the fact that most places to eat accepted cash only .

Sayulita is a surf town with a laid-back atmosphere.

Sayulita is a surf town with a laid-back atmosphere. It has a low-key vibe, lots of local "hole in the wall" places for great food and drinks, funky boho shopping and beautiful, brightly colored "papel picados" swinging freely throughout the streets.

We had not been to Sayulita in years.

We had not been to Sayulita in years. Not a sleepy little surfer town anymore. Bustling with lots of tourists. However, you can stay in many accommodations away from the main street and enjoy the beach and restaurants away from the crowds.

We Loved Sayulita. The town is full of life.

We Loved Sayulita. The town is full of life. Great shops and lots of great food. The beaches were wonderful and the people watching was even better. Its a great little surf town with lots of adventures just outside of the town. If mobility is an issue I would rent a golf cart or side by side to get around =)

Sayulita is a perfect blend of quiet and activity.

Sayulita is a perfect blend of quiet and activity. Lots of options to eat and things to do... or great if you just wanted or hang out on the beach all day. There are some vendors on the beach almost all day long, but they are not at all aggressive and with a simple "no gracias" they move on. Lots of people surfing and so much fun to watch. I think we've found our new winter get away spot! It's relatively easy to get to and the prices are fair. We always felt safe and welcome.

The staff here were awesome, very nice and helpful with every question and really quick. The yoga instructors were all top notch. The breakfast buffet was great for a hotel breakfast and was healthy. And the vibe in the hotel itself was very relaxed and calming

The property is in the heart of Sayulita. It is spacious, safe and well equipped. The manager Xiomara is friendly, kind and helpful. As a group, we found the shared spaces really great.
