This ecolodge was magical, a paradise in this little remote town. it was super well designed and decorated, clean and peaceful. It had AC, hot water and WiFi, a lovely pool. The outdoor shower is so pretty. We were welcomed with a fresh Piña juice. it's a few minutes walk from the beach. Communication upfront was good, we were offered options for tours, breakfast and dinner. We could pre order some snacks, such as guacamole , quesadillas, tacos for dinner (not many options to eat in this tiny town) so that was very convenient. Breakfast was very nice and well served. I cook l can't imagine finding a better option in this area!

Wonderful hotel, great location and kind staff! We received an upgrade to ocean view room and it was AMAZING - would recommend this room type! They gave us options of tours since we hadn't booked anything and had a hard time finding tours in the town. Had a hammock in our room, with cute little balcony. Very quiet overall which was appreciated Received free welcome drinks, and the breakfast was amazing!

The room was comfortable and clean, well equipped. The staff was very kind and helpful even though we didn't speak Spanish. They have a car park for hotel guests nearby which is very convenient. The hotel is located in a central spot of the village so it's very close to every place in Rio Lagartos including shops, a small market, plenty of restaurants and all the boat trip companies you can ever imagine.

The staff....obiliging, helpful and nothing was an effort in helping you. Cleanliness of the room which included fans/airconditioning and WiFi. Breakfast included and given option as to what time you'd like to have it. Location....50m from the foreshore. Easy access to supermarket, fruit market, tour operators and restaurants. I had no complaints. If I return to Rio Lagartos I will stay here again. Thank you to Merci and her family for the wonderful service.

This little property is fantastic- a real gem. It’s great value for money. The views from the bedrooms are amazing. The rooms are big. The beds are extremely comfortable. I don’t sleep well and I had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in months. The staff are friendly, professional and kind. I’m allergic to wheat and they made me a separate breakfast and generously didn’t charge extra. We had the whole fish as an evening meal- it was very good- restaurant in the hotel is excellent and a very reasonable price. Parking was just by the side of the hotel and very safe.
