The flight we wanted to take from Penang to Kuala Lumpur was oversold and we were stuck in Penang overnight until the next morning to take a plane out. We went to booking.com to find a nearby hotel at a reasonable rate. We had not considered the time of day we're waking up to take the return flight and tick the box to pre purchase the breakfast that came with a stay. Sadly, we were to be taking a taxi back to the airport before breakfast was going to be served. The staff at the hotel was gracious to actually open the breakfast buffet up early just for us so we could actually have a meal before rushing to the airport. This is the sort of hospitality you do not see anymore in large hotels such as this. Although we had some difficulty with the Internet after check in, they were prompt to get to our room and correct the problem for us. I've got to admit this was a nice hotel and I would like to come back to it someday for its spa purposes.

Very clean, neat and tidy. Excellent balcony outside both rooms which would make a good place to meet other guests, and is a great place to observe village life. Very friendly and helpful host who went out of his way to make me feel welcome and looked after. Free parking. No noise from aeroplanes and far enough from the main road that it's quiet, though still close enough to easily walk to the warungs there. Highly recommended! The GPS location provided for Google Maps is spot on (though Google confused me by saying I was there when I still had a corner to drive around!).
