Everything. This is a superb family-run boutique hotel that is a living example of Peranakan culture. The house is a veritable museum, stylish, fascinating, beautifully kept and run with an attention to every detail. The breakfast is to die for: nyonya cooking and treats that just kept coming and coming. Would most certainly recommend.

Love the environment and the vibe that it has. The place is super clean and well maintained. The staffs were very helpful and also friendly. Love the room that we stayed in and the view from our room. Special thanks to Mr Amir (receptionist) who helped us through our checking in process. Cool, funky, old true heritage hotel, lots of character. Comfortable, quiet and safe. Great location just steps from Christ Church and Jonker Street. Room was good sized, good shower, aircon worked fine, filtered water availbe in lobby for your bottles But most of all...the staff. Amir greeted us and got us sorted, provided loads of info and was cheerful and friendly and professional throughout our entire visit Dayah was a true gem. She was there in the evenings and kept us connected with food and transport, always with a big beautiful smile and kindness. We'd stay at JonkeRed again for the room and the location, but we'd go back just to see Dayah and Amir!
