When I exchanged SouthAfrica Rand at airport, I gave her R3000 but I only got R2000. I told this event to Hotel manager, he was very helpful for me. Finally he went to the exchange company to get R1000 back. He is a very reliable man. The security is better than the city center. Many restaurant and supermarket is close to the hotel.

We went there for a work-related trip, so we made many different bookings from Aug 18th to Aug 30th, 2024! The staff was awesome in helping as with ALL needed arrangements, the hotel also has transportation services to/from hotel/airport, so that's very convenient. Breakfast is nice and cleaning services as well. It is located in a good area right in front of a shopping mall (where you can exchange money) and is surrounded by restaurants and cafés. At least for work/business trips this is an excellent option for your stay!

The room was very spacious, clean and well maintained. The views were to die for. It would have helped if the rooms had bathrobes, and the balcony was functional, as we had specifically booked it to enjoy the rooms from the balcony. The TV also was not very functional as it could not connect to youtube or Netflix so that was very disappointing. Aside from that, everything else was amazing from the breakfast, to the very comfortable beddings. I would definitely recommend!

It was easy to get around Maputo. Highlights, Ktembe Bridge,Port, Fish Market, you can buy and get them prepare your seafood just outside. We enjoyed that.Many little restuarants outside the market, Museum, Cathedral, Baira Mall. Beach accross the mall street Train station.

Something different Town fairly run-down but central area fairly up market Quite safe and friendly people Park car at your accommodation do not use if possible Taxis and tuk tuks provide easy relatively cheap transport everywhere just ensure you have sufficient small notes / change Difficult to find supermarket supplies bring basics with you Beach quite dirty and water smelt of sewerage Restaurant food quite expensive, ended up eating whole chicken at PeriPeri. Even fruit was expensive Not many attractions and some were not well looked after Next time will take ferry to Inhaca for beach time

The city is fairly clean, especially in the area where I stayed. I did not have the opportunity to visit other parts of the city. Unfortunately, my Portuguese language is very poor so I had challenges communicating with citizens. I spent my evenings indoors becasue of thaty

Liked the beach and food.

Liked the beach and food. Don't like the fact that there is no English in that country. Communication is extremely difficult... It's close to impossible and mostly locals take advantage to mistreat of rob by over hanging prices.

There was unrest so not great to move around at night (or day in some parts). Where I was staying it felt very safe and the area is nice. Further out towards the airport it is not great... But there is a lovely energy to the place and looking forward to my next trip back.

Wonderful city...especially the sea-side though hot and humid temperatures can be uncomfortable. Love cycling early morning on Saturdays to Marracuene and back with less traffic congestion.Brisk walking along beach.Superb restuarant at Costa da Sol.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is in the heart of Maputo and you can see the sea from the rooftop bar/seating area. Anibal and the rest of the staff were amazing - organised our airport transfer, gave us great recommendations and prepared a great breakfast. Everything was well maintained and nicely styled. I much preferred it to one of the huge hotel chains and it was great value. I just wish we’d had a few more nights! :)

Nothing… STAY AWAY… this hotel is run by criminals.. they charged double on my credit card, they done the same to all the people I traveled with. Even it’s clearly manually double charge money taken from my account the hotel deny any wrong doing, they simply say they never taken the money.. from now on I will only pay my hotels directly to booking.com

The location of the hotel, near lots of restaurants. The staff were friendly and ready to assist in anything you require. Very quiet location. i will go back to Polana if I ever have to visit Maputo again.
