AustraliaThe entrance to the lodge was beautiful , and so we knew we were in for a great stay.
The receptionist greeted us with a big welcoming smile and lots of fun !
We had a tent on the island which only has 3 tents and what a special stay . You get to walk across a swinging bridge ( think Indiana Jones ) and that’s where our tent was along with the restaurant . The tent had a kitchenette , big bathroom and awesome deck we loved sitting at listening to the hippies outside our room .
Just remember to book in for meals as it’s mainly self cater

The description given was not accurate.
The description given was not accurate. The chalets we had were not selfcatering and all we could do was BBQ. There were no pots or pans, no microwave or stove top. The island bar was lovely and the views of the river were superb. The chalets were not on the island as we thought and there are only 5 tents on the island itself.
