Quiet location. Friendly. Enjoyed our stay. About 1.5 hour tarmac road drive from new international airport outside Windhoek. Early morning walk saw baboons and lots of birds by dam. Excellent Breakfast 8 to 9 . Would book again.

We spent 1 night at Avenir on our way back to South Africa after a 2 week camping trip through Namibia. I wish there was a rating higher than 10/10. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and were able to enjoy this beautiful and special place. The staff was professional and went the extra mile to assist us and make sure we enjoy our time. We enjoyed a high quality dinner and breakfast, the room and facilities are beautiful, comfortable and relaxing. This was truely a special experience and we want to thank Norman, Chrishial, Samson, all staff and the chefs. I would highly recommend Avenir and we cannot wait to come back.

Definitely our best stay in Namibia!! It is worth deviating slightly from the main tourist routes to spend one or more nights in this fantastic farm pampered by Merisa. Going to Etosha or returning to the capital give yourself this opportunity. From the location, to the cleanliness, to the proposed activities, to the kindness of the staff and availability, everything was truly perfect. But the best thing is the food: dinner and breakfast unforgettable in quality and quantity, again definitely our best meals in Namibia! It would be 11 out of 10, but unfortunately it is not possible..

It was a super apartment with all you needed to self cater. Despite the fact that there was no water it didn’t stop us enjoying it. Great stop when going to Windhoek
