It was wonderfully personal with manager Mikke giving us great local information and Leon driving us to and from their sister restaurant Out of Africa in the evening. Very spacious rooms (we booked honeymoon rooms), comfortable big bed, lively bathroom and great breakfast. Small property in lovely garden with secure parking. Despite being on Otjiwarongo’s Main Street there was no street noise at all.

Really a great place to stop between windhoek and Etosha. We had the family room which is really big. Nice food, nice staff. Really recommend it!

Highly recommend Kamaku Guesthouse! We stopped for one night on our way back from Etosha, Karola and Nico were really accomodating and warm hosts who went out of their way to ensure we felt welcomed and had everything we needed. If you’re looking for somewhere intimate and cosy with spacious and clean rooms, a lovely garden and refreshing pool, with 2 friendly cats and 2 cute dogs - this is a great spot!

Okonjima is a 5-star luxury resort from beginning to end: it's truly a high-class experience where every need is met. Moreover, owners and all the staff do an incredible job in creating a massive sanctuary that truly aims at the highest levels to protect wildlife of all species, but especially the cheetahs. We went on a leopard safari, foot trekking to find the stunning white rhino, and then learned all about AfriCat which truly shows how dedicated this group is to connecting humankind with nature. We are SO stunned at the overall beauty, we have to recommend this with 11 out of 10 stars!

We chose Aloegrove to relax for a couple of nights after our 1,800 mile tour of Namibia. The communication with the hosts Johan and Ivy was fabulous during the booking process. The lodge is a good 20 mins along a track, well signposted, and by this point we were used to Namibian roads, so the uneven bits were no surprise. We were greeted by staff and showed our fabulous accommodation, spacious and the attention to detail was brilliant, bubble bath for the bath with a spectacular view, beautiful quality bed linen, ground coffee etc etc etc... Everything is there that you could need! We self catered for the first night with the indoor braai, we ate at the lodge the second night, the chef made a beautiful meal and fantastic breakfast with scrambled ostrich egg. Afternoon coffee and cake is also a real treat. we joined Johan and Ivy's tour of their farm and feeding their rescued big cats. So informative about the all the animals. I highly recommend the tour, it was great fun and we learnt lots. Johan, Ivy and their lovely staff cannot do enough for the guests. On our last morning we sat down with a map with them and planned our net trip to Namibia, they shared their knowledge of the best routes and places to travel to, of course we will start and finish with a stay at Aloegrove! We stayed is some lovely places on our journey but nothing matched the luxurious experience at Aloegrove.

One of the best lodge in Namibia. The staff is very friendly. The food is very good. Nice view from the deck for the animals. The room is very good. I do recommend.

Very beautiful place with many animals. Tha rino tracking on foot is definitely awesome. we were very happy. Staff is super friendly and many animals.
