Achab is a very nice camp site in the Spitzkoppe area. It’s well maintained and organised, with good communication from the host. The staff ensures you have warm water during the night and morning to take a shower. The value for money is great and the area is beautiful.

Etusis Lodge is located in a nature reserve, 30 km from Karabib. It features a swimming pool surrounded by a garden and a restaurant. It also offers free private parking.

The lodge sits in a beautiful valley, completely secluded and private. The rooms were private and well apointed. The food was excellent and served outside which was wonderful. The pool was lovely and the crazy golf super hard! We took a sundowner and saw springbok and zebra. The second day we rode horses up to the waterfall (dry at that time of year) which was a morning to remember. This hotel was one of the highlights of our holiday in Namibia. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

As a family of 5 adults, as part of a 9-days self-drive, we stayed at the campsite for one night.The Campsite is at a great location the base of the mountain. All rooms are the same size with excellent toilet and shower facilities quite near the rooms. The site manager,Anna, is quite bubbly and very helpful with lots of guidance. It is quite off-grid, wonderful in the daylight, and,due to minimum light pollution, striking star constellations can be seen at night. We were fine at night, but the leaflet in the bedrooms warns to be careful of snakes i.e. the horned adder and zebra snakes.Overall, highly recommended.

Uitkijk Farm is a little gem! We enjoyed everything about our stay here - from the spacious room and comfortable bed, to the delicious lamb stew and braai. The quality of the meat was incredible. Breakfasts were also delicious. The location is great with view down the hill of many types of animals. There are 2 pools to chill out by. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Many thanks in particular to Susan who made us feel very welcome and to Francois who helped us out with car trouble and braaied an amazing dinner for us. We will definitely come back should we ever be back in the area!
