We absolutely loved our stay at Agora at Playa Maderas. Victoria was an incredible host and was so helpful in giving us advice about how to spend our time there. The location is remote, but we're so glad that we stayed there and not in the hustle and bustle of San Juan del Sur. The house we stayed in exceeded our expectations and was beautifully designed, super comfortable and just a great place to hang out in, cook in and feel the breeze come through. The beach is stunning too and it's just a short 8-minute walk away down the creek trail (assume this is only open in dry season). We loved Playa Maderas and absolutely recommend this as an awesome option for somewhere quiet and beautiful.

We loved our stay at Villa Francia! This place is absolutely amazing! <3 The rooms are modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean and the view from our room was beautiful. The food is also incredibly good, one highlight was the fantastic breakfast with fresh fruits, juice, home made crepes, croissants and so much more. Everyone was so warm, incredibly welcoming, and helpful - we cannot recommend this place enough and would love to come back soon! :)

For the price its a luxury experience siutated close to the beach. The staff is super friendly and helped us with all of our requests! The food, including breakfast, was also good! I highly recommend this place if you want luxury at good price! Also close drive to the very popular surf beach of playa maderas. Hoghly recommend to eat at Doña chilo right down the road with the sweetest lady!

We loved staying here, the decor and communal spaces were spacious and very comfortable. We loved the timber weatherboard feel. Location is perfect in the centre of town and around the corner from the shuttle that drops you off at all the beaches. Free breakfast was good choice of pancakes and a local breakfast. The room was a little small based on the price of the room, but it was very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

We loved our stay at Buena Onda! We stayed for a week and appreciated that it was relatively quiet at night, had a great view in the morning, had new and interesting breakfast every day, and had a full kitchen that we used to cook a couple meals at the hostel. The new managers were so helpful with all of our needs, gave us great recommendations (food, surf instructor, etc.) and we met several other interesting travelers there too. It was also great having breakfast with other guests in the common area and allowed for everyone to get to know each other. We also instantly adored their two sweet dogs Bonnie and Max. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The water slide, pools. and diving area were incredible. Food was excellent with good options. Breakfast was excellent. Loved the location nestled away in nature. Grounds are stunning. And of course the "standard king room" is a full size suite / 1 bedroom apt!
