Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Mondriaan! The staff were so helpful and friendly! I travelled with my grandmother and the owner went through so much trouble to accommodate her! We also had a lovely breakfast and dinner at the hotel!!

Right in the heart of this cute village is the Stad Munster. Located in the town square it is a quaint little hotel / restaurant with great facilities, friendly staff and comfy rooms. I had the single room which catered to my needs and provided an excellent setting for me to explore the town, meet some other travellers and enjoy the scenery. The bartender in the restaurant was knowledgeable on the local beers and offered great advice on other places to visit.

A charming old, former fortified town, great for a stroll. The park is also worth a visit, and the area is beautiful for cycling and walking. The recreational lake: Slingeplas has a few restaurants and cafes, including an ice cream parlor and a brewery.

An old, historic fortified town with beautifully restored...

An old, historic fortified town with beautifully restored buildings. An interesting walking tour is available. Other than that, there's not much to do. We found Bredevoort a bit lacking as a book town, but the surrounding area is beautiful with many interesting old towns, excellent museums, and scenic walking routes.

Lovely town with history. We ate at Hotel Bertrand.

Lovely town with history. We ate at Hotel Bertrand. Lots of hiking opportunities. There are signposted walks near the lake. The orange markers are incomplete. Thanks to our Garmin, we were able to pick up the trail again.

The location was excellent for cycling trips that weren't too long for us. The surroundings were pleasant. The bikes weren't covered in case of rain. That was a minor drawback, but not a major one.

Bredevoort is a charming town in the Achterhoek region with a beautiful old town center. You'll find bookstores everywhere, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. People still greet each other kindly on the street, and above all, it's a place to relax.

We loved the service; all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely go back. The rooms were clean, and the refrigerator and its contents were included in the price. Fantastic.
