Super cool accommodation resort. The sauna complex is classy and rustic, with many beautiful designs, like the Birdnest sauna. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable with gorgeous redesigning of the fort building. Quiet & dark in the morning. I guess being a fort helps soundproofing! I slept extremely well. The included buffet breakfast was delicious! Perfect for a couple's retreat.

We had travelled to Netherlands for our honeymoon. We had booked a stay at Botiquue Hotel Zaan. But we were unable to check in there. Since it was king's day the next day we were unable to get any availability. Last moment we found boutique hotel 43. Here the hosts are a wonderful couple. They were really really kind. The central location in North Holland had the advantage that the area wasn't too overrun with tourists. However, exploring North Holland or taking a walk on the North Sea beach always involved covering some distance.

Something else worth mentioning: the hotel is perfectly suited for people with disabilities. I thought it was fantastic and was pleasantly surprised that the room, with its bathroom and shower, as well as the beds, were wheelchair accessible. The hotel is barrier-free and spacious. Amazing – you don't often find something like that!

The rooms are bland and equipped with a double bed and one hospital bed. The bathroom lacked ambiance, was cold, and wheelchair-accessible. The bar and dining area were cluttered and overcrowded, with too much of a good thing. The service was excellent. Not recommended unless you're specifically looking for something like this.

Service was exceptional, we were having issues finding a hotel that was open, but the staff was extremely nice and accomodating despite the late hour. We actually booked a bit too late, but they made an exception and checked us in anyways, despite their shift having already ended.

House is very nice, sofà is very confortable and owner is very helpful. We liked very much the bedrooms upstairs and the overall style of the house. De Rijp it is also a nice little town with some good restaurants. It is also a good base to explore North of Amsterdam

The vibe of the hotel was unlike any hotels. It was a museum and hotel that came together. The location was calm and peaceful. Would like to visit again.
