My room was clean and very comfortable. It was excellent value for money, with a tasty breakfast being included. The hotel was easily accessible, being a 10 minute walk from the local train station. De Slaapmus is much more than a B&B - more like an apartment and a home away form home. A cosy living room with one of wall covered with books spanning a wide range of topics, and a nice sofa to relax in. On the ground floor we also had a toilet and shower plus a small kitchen where we could make our breakfast and a simple evening meal - with a nice view to the cosy garden. Two bedrooms on first floor with superb beds. Everything was spotless clean, and the apparent is decorated by paintings done by the hostess, Monique, who is a professional artist. From the pictures it looks idyllic - in reality its even nicer. The house is situated in an very quite area, yet near to the town centre with all the shops and services you could need. On our arrival we were very well received in a personal and friendly manner by Michiel, and on our departure Monique gave us a tour around her atelier. Highly recommended, and we'll stay here again if we coming this way in the future.

Sit down breakfast is a treat! Delicious, varied & abundant spread delivered to table - perfect for starting our planned walks! Dinner also excellent- small but delicious menu. Outside dining in glass encased extension was magical, especially w light rain, heating elements & lighting. Hotel rooms are small but comfortable & clean- great bed & lovely shower for post walk relaxation. Lots of parking spaces behind hotel, do drop off your suitcase at the front to avoid long drag through gravel.

The hotel was in a fantastic place as the hotel was located right next door to the wedding location, a simple five minute walk! The breakfast was good and actual room decor was lovely, a large bed, with expected home comforts, large TV and a large bath although this feature was a part of the main room too if that is your thing!
