I recently stayed at this hotel and was genuinely pleased. The location is excellent, placing everything I needed within easy reach. one of the best places we have stayed. everything is thought out to the smallest detail. If you suddenly forgot something at home, don’t worry, it’s already in its usual place. a very pleasant and sweet hostess prepared a wonderful breakfast for us. we had the feeling that we were not in a hotel, but visiting our beloved aunt, we were so surrounded by care and attention. A small, charming village with plenty of shops nearby for daily needs. It's not far from Gasselte with its beautiful lake, and also from Drouwen and Borger – about a 10-minute drive to Drouwen and another 6 minutes to Borger. Emmen is a 30-minute drive away.

We used the hotel for an overnight stay during our bike tour (Langs het Pieterpad). Very convenient location, easy to reach. Nice town to stay. Supermarket, bakery etc. and restaurants available. Very friendly staff.

Excellent location in the centre of Gieten. Spacious room, very clean and modern. The host, Meike was very friendly, and provided a fantastic breakfast hamper (with enough extras to make lunch too - thank you).
