I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Giethoorn and I must say that my experience was fantastic in several aspects, including the self check-in system, luxurious toiletries, and value for money. Firstly, the self check-in system at the Hotel was a convenient and easy process. The hotel provided clear instructions on how to check-in even quickly without any hassle. Furthermore, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the toiletries provided by the hotel, including shampoo, body cream, and shower gel, were from the exclusive and expensive brand, Rituals. The products were of high quality and added to the luxurious experience of my stay. Lastly, considering the current inflation and high energy costs, I was pleased with the overall value for money that the hotel provided. The price was reasonable and justified given the excellent location, comfortable room, and exceptional cute village.

It is place to relax in peace. A good escape from hustle and bustle of city life. I feel two days are enough for the stay as it is a very small village and there is nothing much to do or see apart from relaxing in the beautiful environment.

Wonderful location on the edge of Giethoorn, providing parking and the opportunity to walk into the centre of Giethoorn with ease. We loved walking from one end to the other but you could easily cycle or take the car around the outside. Plenty of eating opportunities from ice creams through to a three course meal. While it was busy during the day (in August) it was delightful before 10am and after 6pm. When busy it was fabulous for people watching.

It is a beautiful place, with houses and gardens from the fairy tales, with small and beautiful restaurants, but most of all with very polite and friendly people. Nobody passed by you without saying Hello! You can walk, or use a boat, small or large as you wish, the images are great! Sailing through the canals is a must. Close to this place there are other cities like Leeuwarden which is a real gem to discover, with nice pubs, and shops, and a local market on Sunday. We had the chance to travel in a period when it was not too crowded, and it was excellent .

Giethoorn is the Venice of the Netherlands, it’s beautiful even though the weather was not brilliant during our stay but the place is amazing and I can imagine will be packed come Summer. We went during the Easter long weekend and still enjoyed the place. Will definitely go back again ☺️

It's so nice to walk around not just in the center, of course with nice weather is important. 4. It's great to have 2hr boat ride with great weather, was so comfortable and the guide was so great.

The hotel was very easy to find. Parking is free near the hotel which was perfect for us. Hotel was very clean and quite. It offered free caffee and tea in the room. The internet worked perfect as I used it everyday to work online. Breakfast was everyday fresh and very tasty. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to see the beauty of Giethoorn. Giethoorn was like walking on your dreams and seeing amazing places around.

The holiday home at a great location and well equipped to host 5-6 people. Robb and his family are super friendly, provided a lot of information about places to visit around Giethoorn and it was also very easy to rent a boat and drive off directly from the home.

Cosy and calm hotel in an indeed harmonically place. Good breakfast with a lot to choose from. Even hot alternatives as scrambled eggs with bacon, which we haven’t seen elsewhere in any hotel in the Netherlands as far.
