Grou is a nice little town on the Friesland waterways.
Grou is a nice little town on the Friesland waterways. It is full of boats in the summer and has lots of cafes and restaurants. There are several supermarkets and shops plus numerous boat businesses and chandlers. A great centre for boating, walking and cycling. Stayed as an organised group, plenty of bedrooms to accommodate everyone. Has a ping pong table for children, nice bar (but closes a tad bit early than most at 11/12) breakfast is small selection of fruit, bread, croissants, baguettes then slices of ham/cheese/ boiled eggs/ granola is the cereal along with teas/coffee/apple and orange juice.
