The apartment is located in a quiet town, in a building that used to be a firefighters' station and is nicely decorated according to that theme. It is clean, newly renovated and safe. We went there for Efteling and stayed two nights - before and after the park. It is a little long to walk (about 15-20 minutes) but a few minutes drive, which was very convenient. There are nice restaurants and supermarkets around.

I have recently been trying to make an effort to stay in small locally run businesses instead of big cooperate entities. My wonderful few days stay in this very small family run hotel was 100% perfect. Absolutely quiet and peaceful in this beautiful little community garden. I woke up very early on Saturday am to a full symphony of birds! What a very special treat. Easter Sunday I had the whole place to myself to catch up on journaling in the sunny courtyard with all the birds and all the comings and goings into and out of the multitude of individual hand painted birdhouses in the garden. I just could not have asked for a better weekend then staying at this simple, super clean wonderful little country getaway. There is just nothing better then having a hand picked breakfast and really good capuchino made by a human not a push button machine and sharing a real conversation with a local family who run this little retreat and actually care about your stay. Simply perfect! Thank you Hotel Hof van's Gravenmoer for my special solo weekend! Uber is readily available here for all your trips to explore nearby towns when you have had enough peace and quiet and birds!

We didn’t spend much time locally as we used our property as a base for travelling around. It is in a great central location for many major places of interest such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, the Corpus Museum, Efteling and Beekse Bergen. It is in easy driving distance from the Dunkirk ferry. There was a Lidl nearby which was very useful for stocking up on provisions.

We didn’t venture too far into the town as we were very tired after Efteling but what we saw seemed very nice and peaceful. The town felt very safe and friendly. Some of the local shops do not accept master card or visa which caught us out in a bakery. We arrived quite late on our first night and a lot of the food places closed at 10pm, so be prepared if you need dinner!

Kaatsheuvel is but a small town that we visit when we go to The Efteling, one of Europe's largest and oldest theme parks. It is great to spend the entire day there and then stay in Kaatsheuvel so we can rest our feet and have dinner in one of the many bars and restaurants there.

A wonderful place, nice staff, super modern property and rooms, clean, cozy and comfortable. They have a nice restaurant just downstairs but my favorite spot is the bar with the beautiful terrace! In the Terrace there is a playground and a minigolf for the kids. Perfect to relax with the kids! Also, parking is free :) Great value for money!

Clean beds, good location for Efteling Park, and bunk beds for kids are very interesting and fun for kids. Staff at the restaurant were very nice, service was quick, and the asparagus soup was delicious. There is a super market just under the hotel which very handy, and also there is a large free parking with EVO facilities.

This hotel has a lovely vibe, fabulous staff, nicely decorated, extremely comfy beds and a great breakfast selection. It’s a short, easy walk to Efteling. We stayed here as two families and we thought it was truly excellent! Thank you to all the team who looked after us so well!

We went to visit Efteling and its really closeby (10 minutes walk). Hotelroom was clean and bed and shower were very comfortabel. Issue with tv was solved immediately. Good and fast contact with the owner. Easy check in.
