Liked everything about the stables. Such a clean cosy place and comfy bed. You can tell that a lot of care and thought been put in it. I gave the check in time and to my surprise when we entered the chalet heating was already on and it was nice warm inside. Owner is easy going as we changed the check in and out time twice and he happily approved. Responds to the messages quick.

We stayed in Kampen whilst visiting Wildeberg festival in Kraggenburg, the town itself is very lovely, and the train station is easily accessible to get to Zwolle which is a town we visited for the day! If you have bike/car Kampen is easy to get around, also the buses are very regular and good for jumping on and off :)

A cozy and charming Hanseatic city with many narrow streets, squares, canals, and beautiful old buildings, and a wide range of restaurants, bars, and cultural venues, especially considering the size of the city center. Be sure to visit the IJsselkade and the harbor! The wonderfully green city park completes your visit.

Beautiful facades, a lovely old town with narrow alleyways, and a cozy atmosphere. Because of the beautiful weather, we spent most of our time outdoors, so we didn't visit any museums or other indoor attractions. We'll probably do that next time.

A beautiful city on the river with many lovely old houses and a rich history. There's also plenty to do culturally – at least on a weekend like the one we booked. It's wonderful for walking, with many beautiful views of the old town buildings, the harbor with its old sailing ships, the canal, the river, and the parks.

Kampen is a small town with a rich history.

Kampen is a small town with a rich history. It's fun to wander around after reading about its history, but don't expect too much. The town center consists mainly of a small street and a square. On Monday evenings, Kampen is deserted, and many restaurants are closed. There's not much to do, so I recommend staying here for no more than one day.

The town center is small and cozy.

The town center is small and cozy. Easily accessible, with plenty of free parking. I took a boat trip to Zwolle and back with my mother, who has limited mobility, and enjoyed high tea. It was very enjoyable.

This is the best option to stay in Kampen!! It is well located (6min by bike till city center). The place is really cozy and well equipped. We stayed 2 years ago at “tiny house” which was also really nice and this time we wanted to try “tiny garage”. I would definitely come back and would 100% recommend. The owner is also a nice person, very flexible and helpful. Also he welcomed us with some tulips and chocolates on the room, so very nice detail !! So don’t doubt it to stay here!

Very nice small place in the centre of kampen. Cosy, everything was there, including tea and coffee . Full private entry with key from a keybox next to the door, which feels nice, as if you are staying in a home. Fully enjoyed the bathroom, with bath. Didnt understand the heatingsystem at first, but was my mistake, didnt read the welcomeletter well. Friendly owner explained it to me on the phone and worked well. Also very convenient: free parking area 3 minutes walking away.

Really nice self-contained studio apartment on the ground floor, with a view out across the canal to the front (and a sunny bench to sit on outside) and a tiny outdoor space at the back with a table and two chairs. Nicely equipped kitchen made it easy to cook meals (we didn't want to eat in a restaurant every night), and the bed was super-comfortable. Kampen is a very beautiful town, with lots of interesting places to visit nearby. And thank you for the beers in the fridge!

The facilities of this hotel were excellent. There was ample parking behind the property and the high street was down an ally way, where you can find clothing and retail shops and a small supermarket. We loved the delicatessen, which sold a huge variety of cheeses, dried meats, crackers, and other snacks. The breakfast was plentiful, featuring fresh fruit, yoghurt, huge bread basket, boiled egg, jams, cured meats and cheese and to top it all frequent coffee refils.
