We were well looked after, but the attention to one's wellbeing is shown in a charming and unobtrusive way. The house itself is beautifully restored and well equipped. The breakfast was served at the table and was delicious.

An absolutely exceptional hotel! Placed among many excellent restaurants, cafés and pubs, really easy to get to from the train station (15 minutes walk max.). The room was very spacious, with superb curtains for anyone sensitive to the morning light. The coffee machine in the room was a perfect addition for people in love with their morning cup of joe ;-) The bathroom was very clean, with enough space for 2 people. The overall interior design of the hotel was also very pleasant - especially the bar and reception areas (as cool as in some hostels but with a hotel quality of service ;-) ). I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone staying in Groningen!
