The amount of space for what was still essentially a "capsule" unit - spacious to the point the only trappings short of being a full room would be unnecessary walking space! Bluetooth speakers and mood lighting really helped make my stay a lot more enjoyable. Lockers were available for baggage storage before checkin and after checkout for free which made things a lot easier for less than ideal onward connections.

Convenient central location with a metro station nearby. The hotel was opened recently, it's beautifully designed, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the bistro serves exceptional meals. But above all, the highlight for me was the superb staff - professional but friendly, accommodating and approachable. They went above and beyond in helping me track down a lost item and had it shipped to me after I left the city. It was fantastic customer experience and I will surely stay here again in the future.

The location of this hotel worked well for me.

The location of this hotel worked well for me. I was able to walk from the shipping company where I dropped my motorcycle off and also only an 8 minute walk to a metro station. The hotel was quiet, clean and smoke free. The staff all spoke English and were very helpful. Breakfast was very good with omelets cooked to order.

For those who like watching the hustle and bustle of the...

For those who like watching the hustle and bustle of the shipping on the river, it is ideal, as it has a large bar and restaurant with a terrace facing the river. It is quite close to the Metro station with access to Rotterdam centre in about 20 mins. Forget taxis as they are alsmost non-existant. Do not book suite 003 as it is located in the basement and has very little view.

It is a reasonably long walk into town but there is a regular bus service. The tram station is about 8-10 mins walk away with trams running to central Rotterdam about every 15 mins and to other commuter towns down the Waterway to the Hoek van Holland. However, they don't take cash - credit cards only. The view from the lounge, bar and rsstaurant areas is an ever changing panorama of ships both big and small passing close by the windows. There is also a terrace with tables and chairs outside facing the river should it be warm enough.

The room is small but has everything you need, bed is comfortable, there is a table, two chairs, fridge a security box. Coffee, tea and water kettle available. The windows has mosquito net (let this be inspiration for other hotels!). Affordable parking for EUR 7,50 per day. Near the highway but surprisingly not a lot of noise from the traffic.

Very nice hotel in Vlaardingen. The room was a reasonable size, nicely decorated and quiet. Staff were friendly and breakfast good. Amazing views from the breakfast room onto the river. Less than 10 min walk to the metro to get into Rotterdam. The hotel is in a cul de sac so we felt the bikes were safe enough on the sidewalk

Location close to our family. Entrance to hotel difficult, especially with building works all around it. Stayed twice total 5 nights. Sat nav does not find entrance.
