My parents came for my graduation and stayed at the Breathe hotel for 4 days. They thoroughly enjoyed their stay - as they are travelling a lot they can compare different accommodations, and this hotel became one of their favourite! In particular they found the beds very comfortable due to the high quality materials of the sheets, pillows and duvet. The quiet atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing, and staff very friendly and helpful. Cosy little hotel, just few rooms, very calm. Nice breakfast. The town is small, no overcrowding and noise. Beautiful park and channel just round the corner. Several supermarkets nearby. Railway station is in 15 minutes walking from the hotel, all destinations in Netherlands can be reached via it. Bus stop is in 10 minutes walking, there are several bus routes to Leiden and Den Haag. Thanks to Ron for his service and hospitality!

The host was friendly and easy to deal with. Breakfast was served in the room and was delicious - lots of choice and nicely presented. Mini bar with a few options for a reasonable surcharge. The room is compact but has enough space to be comfortable. The washroom facilities were clean - no complaints at all. Small downtown Voorschoten is walking distance and offers several decent choices for restaurant.

Some rooms were free so the owner kindly upgraded us to their most modern room. The restaurant was open until late so it also allowed us to do a late check in and enjoy a good dinner without any worries. The neighborhood around the hotel was quite nice.
