Hotel location is nice. Ten minutes walk to the beach. The hotel is nicely furbished and very clean. The small room was actually very very small. There was room just for a small double bed. The bed was not very comfortable either. The bathroom although very small served its puropose.

Wassenaar is clearly an affluent area of NL.

Wassenaar is clearly an affluent area of NL. My Dad likened it to the Mayfair of Den Haag. Huge, beautiful houses and clean/quiet streets. Local shops are efficient and easy to find and the beach is great during the warmer months. Our highlight, and main reason for our first visit (of many) over 10 years ago, was Duinrell. A theme park and water park all in one, perfect for all ages and reasonably priced too.

Wassenaar has a fantastic beach where you can enjoy beach...

Wassenaar has a fantastic beach where you can enjoy beach walks, dune hikes, water sports, or relax and eat at one of the many beachside restaurants and cafes. Dogs are allowed, which is a big plus. The town itself is small, clean, and has many lovely restaurants and cafes. Wassenaar is also easily accessible from The Hague (12 minutes) and Scheveningen. A great place with lots to offer.

The Voorlinden Museum is a must for any art lover. It's within walking distance of Wittenburg Castle, a fantastic place to stay. The castle's restaurant, Sophie, is also cozy and delicious.

The location and the castle are exceptional. Anyone who appreciates atmosphere will feel right at home here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant isn't open every evening, but a very good location just three minutes away was clearly indicated to us.

Nice hotel located a short car journey from The Hague and 40 km from Amsterdam. We stayed there to visit the Keukenhof tulip gardens. Our room was lovely and big and the bed was comfortable and my husband was impressed with the built in wireless chargers on the bedside tables. Even though we didn’t eat there, the restaurant looked nice and we had drinks there one night. There was a small area in the reception area where you could buy snacks and drinks, and there was also a coffee shop that had delicious pastries and breads/croissants.

Beautifully decorated and furnished rooms. Quiet corner of Wassenaar, set along the side of canals. Close enough to local amenities, yet quiet enough to sit back and relax. Loved watching the ducks and boats potter past. Perfect for visiting local beaches and places of interest. The owner is very kind, yet gives you space to relax. The breakfast is a fabulous spread served in the bar below (we were lucky enough to eat outside too in warmer weather). Really recommend this b and b.

It was a beautiful location with it's own lake and well tended garden. The outdoor terrace was perfect for an early evening beer. Reception staff were fabulous - they were kind and came across as being proud of the hotel. We had a free upgrade to a suite so had a separate living/dining space in addition to a huge bedroom and fantstic bathroom - can't remember a hotel with such good water pressure and instant hot water! Thank you
