A cute little town with a nice town center. A large church with lots of restaurants around. On Saturday there is a nice market with specialties and food. Go early, after 10:00 it is full of German tourists :-D

A pleasant town center with plenty of restaurants and cafes. Friendly staff at the tourist office. Due to our short stay, we didn't visit any museums. We did visit the large camping store, Odelink, where they sell everything you need.

We were visiting our grandchildren in Winterswijk.

We were visiting our grandchildren in Winterswijk. There's so much to do, and you can sit on a terrace around the square for a drink and a delicious meal. We often ate at De Zwaan restaurant, the Nachtwacht, and Wok restaurant. We also enjoyed playing indoor mini golf.

Winterswijk is a beautiful town with many shops, interesting museums, and other attractions. The surrounding area offers many opportunities for hiking and cycling. The surrounding villages and nature reserves are also well worth a visit.

Right in the heart of this cute village is the Stad Munster. Located in the town square it is a quaint little hotel / restaurant with great facilities, friendly staff and comfy rooms. I had the single room which catered to my needs and provided an excellent setting for me to explore the town, meet some other travellers and enjoy the scenery. The bartender in the restaurant was knowledgeable on the local beers and offered great advice on other places to visit.

Quiet and beautiful place in the middle of nature, convenient parking, cozy hotel and wonderful staff. The owner of the hotel is very polite, welcoming, hospitable, helpful and friendly. We are always happy to visit this hotel again and again.

Location location location :) you're at a farm where you can have long discussions with the cows in today's fields or you can take a walk or cycle in to town. The market in Winterswijk is fantastic and lots to see in the town e en though Google does not show it. The tent has a bed, kettle , table and chairs... fantastic.

Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Mondriaan! The staff were so helpful and friendly! I travelled with my grandmother and the owner went through so much trouble to accommodate her! We also had a lovely breakfast and dinner at the hotel!!
